I don't care if people eat dogs, it's the way they kill them that's just disgusting. Traditional Chinese medicine says if a dog is killed in pain and fear that will make the meat taste better. The dog meat festival way down south is fucking shit because of this, I've seen a dog get blowtorched alive and skin peeled off in videos. If it was done humanely then it wouldn't bother me.

That said, dog meat just does not taste good. I've tried dog soup in NK and dog BBQ in Laos and both times the meat was just too ruff.

I'm originally from Taiwan and I've never heard of anyone serve or eat dog meat, let alone cat.

10+ years ago I worked with folks that originate from China and one of them talked about eating dog meat back on the mainland..
