Sync solder point on bottom of MV1A?

I've just finished my first CMVS and am generally pleased with how it turned out, but I was wondering if anyone here knew of a better place to solder the sync line to, as at the moment I have it soldered to a tiny via and would prefer it was connected to something a bit more solid. I've gone over the board with a multimeter, but couldn't find anything myself. Any ideas?

Would taking some solder mask off of the trace leading to the edge-connector, soldering to the newly-exposed trace, and covering with conformal coating be an option? That might be more destructive than what you're looking for though.
