swtiching bottons on a candy cab

how do I take off the outer ring off the stock super neo 29 bottons??? I'm trying to switch them out for snap on ones but can't get the stock ones out. any help???

I'm not sure which buttons you speak of, but if they are anything like Happ ones you might want to pick up a "Button Wrench". Happ sells a couple different sizes for around $2.

I am in the opposite boat, I have snap in buttons that are stuck and I am scared to scratch my cpanel up prying them out :P

I got it out. it looks like the old stock bottons were snap ons too.
