Well...
Every 2D fighter has its share of borderline situations where the engine makes unfortunate decisions. Basically, anything that does not lead to a cheesy infinite or any other unfair advantage can be ignored if you play the games competitively, so a lot of the flaws in SvC aren't really all that bad. Thing is tho that even an easy infinite requires some sort of skill to perform, it's nothing like simple bugs that occur randomly and give the game an unfinished touch.
Don't sweat it, man. The last two KoFs had a lot of colission bugs as well, namely 2k2. I have some 2k2 bug/infinite videos that I've downloaded from Orochinagi that are really hilarious.
