I got to thinking...maybe this is the reason for the AES dealy if so MVS owners definately owned the home cart guys

Really though they could have benefitted twice as much releasing the cart when the boots started appearing.

They still had some stock of the jamma kit. They needed to sell out these first.
From an operator's point of view, I don't think there is any advantage in having a board rather than a cart. That's why SNKP didn't unveil their plans.

Well then I say at least have it ready so that the second the boards are sold out start sending out the cart kits...because now they are sold out of boards and aren't selling anything until Nov.

I don't believe it's 100% confirmed but if Trieu said it, odds are it's true as he has been accurate most of the time.

Waiting on an official word from Shawn concerning pre-orders and pricing and then it will be true

Just hope the price is as low as the Jamma is now if not lower.. arcade owners would have to buy a neo-slot if they don't get the Jamma.. so the MVS should be lower.. i hope $150. or $200.... well i really hope for a ROTD crash..ohhhh SVC for $30, think about it...

For a minute there I thought I was going to eat my words.

I was one of the people here who would spam threads like, "Playmore sucks! They're not releasing an MVS cart!" or something like that.

I figured SNKP would stand to lose too much money NOT to make a cart, but they also couldn't announce their plans to sell one while they had the JAMMA boards out for sale.

There never was an excuse to buy the boot. Homecart available. PS2 port in December. Shit if you are gonna bend SNK over at least get the rom and don't encourage the mother fucking bootlegers by giving them your money.

Supposedly the MVS kit will come with a plastic mini marquee, like the older MVS carts. That's gonna look so hot in my cab. Can't wait to buy this one!

This is the best news I heard in a while. I was just about to get a supergun for SVC when I decided to just get a consolized 2 slotter. Now just to sell my Jamma so I can get the cart. I really hope this is true.

For me getting a bootleg was never an option, i'd rather have the ps2 port then the boot.

Holy shit, I hope this is true.

If it is, time to switch my preorder money for the HC over to the OFFICIAL MVS.

Also might have a HC system to sell, which would mean another CPS2 kit for me.
