Tried the Jpn version last night. TEXT HEAVY. So, not much going on for me until aU.S. release. I don't like the character movement either. You don't literally control him like the NGPC games. Battles look a lot deeper though. Anxious for the US release

i was reading on the gamefaqs forum for this game and a few people in japan had posted there who own the game and were saying that wifi is only used for local wireless play. . . ..which is a major disappointment

That would be. This game could SO EASILY be coded to work over the Wi-Fi gaming network. So easily that there's no excuse not to have it.

Still, if it compares to the older games of the series, I'll still pick it up; but I was really hoping for good Wi-Fi gaming, with it.

Yo yo, you know what that means:

Otakon Battle Royale!

I've missed it the past 2 years but I'll represent NJ if it means some hot CFC Battle Action :buttrock:

According to Iggy at MMCafe, the first two CFC games recieved, moreorless, the same score from Famitsu.

And I don't think it's been linked here, but here's a new "trailer" With Falcoon himself explaining the game with Iroha. It's actually kind of cute.

And Alba Meira made a nice little collection of screengrabs for a lot of the new cards. There's Ninja Masters and new spcial "Foil" cards with unique artwork by different artists (like CFC2)

That Falcoon is a damn dynamo. It's hard not to get carried away by his enthusiasm.

Has anyone heard about actual card descriptions? It looks like Ukyo and Marco are now B cards for some reason (Ukyo used to be a C and Marco was D trash before). It also looks like they made some big changes to BP/SP for several characters if those screencaps are any indication.

Ukyo has mad ability this time. I read his ability from the screenshot, before he enters combat with a character, he deals like, 200 or 300 bp damage before combat damage is dealt. I'm hoping all the cards have increased utility now.
