Oni is a breath of fresh air compared to the rest of the cast. He plays differently and has some weird tricks. Corny or not, his winpose is bad ass. Just be glad that capcom didn't throw in another shin akuma type of character. People would whine about it as well because that would be another shoto clone, and you know it. You can't please everyone. There will always be haters.
LOL biohazard 6. You talk about capcom ruining the SF games? You better hope that RE6 plays like lost in nightmare because that was the ONLY good part about RE5 that combines RE5's control scheme with the athmosphere of the previous games.

RE5 was amazing. That game's coop alone made it a great game to me.
I talk about capcom ruining the sf games? I'm just sick of IV and its engine, and I've played the shit out of it to make that comment, in arcades, online, in local causals, drunk. I've done that shit to ridiculous levels.
I make specific points about what I PERSONALLY dislike about them.
I love how you judge me for my views like I'm wrong or something, then you go onto a biased tangent about RE5, a totally good and worth playing game for many of its play options. I don't get it.
Oni is pretty cool and pretty lame looking. I just don't care as much about AE, that doesn't mean I'm denying whats legit about this series.

RE5 was fantastic all around. Lost in Nightmare was a great DLC, and better than 5 in the atmosphere, but I wouldn't use it to say that RE5 was anything less than fantastic, and one of the best games of the console generation.

finally tried out Ae last nite, unfortunately the machines were not linked for some stupid reason so I didn't bother sticking around beyond trying a few characters out.
guy seemed about the same, his ex run should be pretty useful but I couldn't apply it in the one credit I played, it seemed to stop automatically so when I attempted to use it to run through a ex fireball my timing on the ultra missed.
deejay feels a lil nicer now that his projectiles are more in line with guiles, didn't notice the other changes yet really.
yun seems pretty cool, basic 3s genai jin combos worked minus the enders.
oni and evil ryu were not unlocked.
super AE on hardest diffuculty has some hillariously hard AI. AI ken played like a scrub and would DP everything you did, and when you do nothing it would just DP anyway, ryu was like a counter DP machine, abel... don't even wanna know...maybe harder than any human abel I've played lol I've never been so worked by a AI since super turbo.

has anybody experienced the super street fighter 4 glitch where you win a match and you see your bp and pp increase but later during another match you see that it decreased. plus when you lose ill say that you lost like 25 bp and 40 pp but when another match start you see that you lost like 100 bp and 300 pp. this happen to me tonignt

First off, I'm thinking about trying to get into SSF IV again. I'll have to give it a few goes and see how I feel about it.

I won't say fuck the haters. But I WILL say fuck the hate for this game. Saying 'it's not a Resident Evil game' is invalid.
It's not RESIDENT EVIL. It's Resident Evil 5, a game made many years later and after the series' mythology has evolved beyond mansions and isolated incidents that can easily be hidden and covered up. If you want the atmosphere of the old games, play the old games. The series' storyline has grown beyond its origins and the games themselves have changed as a result. And good for Capcom for doing that. RE 0 was steeped in the 'atmosphere' of the older games, and it felt stale and played out.
RE 5 may not be someone's cup of tea, and that's cool. But calling it a bad game is a fallacy. It's just a good game they don't like. I feel the same way about Uncharted, but at least I'm objective enough to acknowledge it just doesn't appeal to me.
