Here's the whole thing, if you're into AW cab porn. AW and eeePC laptop included for size references.

I wanted a showcase for the longest time but once I played them at my bud's place I decided against it. They are great 'cause of the elbow room, best cab for tourneys but not for a small space like a home arcade. Hey that T molding is actually pretty slick. I remember wanting something like that for my Goldie. Just a bit of flash you know.

I can't understand why no one makes the AW button setup like a Neo and then have the E button right under your thumb. The system uses 5 buttons, mind as well make it completely ergonomic, why the hell not?!

I've thought this too - got my first 5-button fighter in the mail earlier today and plan to play it after work today... I'm thinking it could be MILDLY awkward.

I really like the notion of a more ergonomic layout - always thought that was about the only way for 5 buttons to not be awkward. Oh well.

^ that is the only layout, with the bottom right button being optional. Unless it's Isuka.

That's the button layout I used to...use...on the Cyberlead which was my exclusive cab for the AW. It's a good button layout, I mean if you want to lay your fingers on the fist four and then use your pinky to alternate between D and E when it's called for. It works well, but having all buttons at the ready of your fingertips is way more intuitive.

K S HS
P x D

That's my Isuka layout, however I've seen folks use all 5 fingers on this button layout, with the thumb on A/P and the pinky on E/D

Just my 2 cents.

Ya! I was thinking about that when I typed it, too lazy to edit that shit. I was confused with Dust for a bit there.

In this moment we bid farewell to a friend. And I'm only saying friend because it's dead and that's the right thing to do. I'd personally like to bid farewell to useless bastard of a post, but that would be inappropriate.

Anyway, so our dear friend has passed on....

For I have beat this thread to death with rubber mats and coat hangers.

I would like to end with a song originally performed by Pink Floyd.

"Goodbye, you shitty thread....
You're leaving here today.
I didn't even get notifiiiiiieeeed....
For one buuuuuuy....
Goodbye."
