SF6 has a lot of positives and an equal amount of negatives.

It gets a lot more fun and also a lot more annoying the more time you put into it against other people. The throw loops can be annoying, but nearly everyone is kind of unique in their own playstyle and I don't think any of the new characters are duds outside of Luke.

The OST is kind of ass though and outside of a couple of tracks, not much is notable.

The World Tour is lame to me, but it is fleshed out so I can see why people would dig it.

Online play is excellent.

It's pretty seemless and I never had an issue with lag/delay.

The Training Mode doesn't get mentioned a lot and it should because that shit is robust as hell and you can do all sorts of fun stuff in there if you're learning the game seriously.

I'll never get the love for 4. That game is the missionary of Street Fighter: plodding, low-damage, ugly with overly defensive-focused mechanics. The meta was just so dull for most of its run (knockdown into nasty 50/50s into knockdown, repeat) and then the end was just "pick the hastily-thrown together, poorly balanced Ultra characters". If you're not a higher-end player, it's just slow, ugly SF2.

6 definitely needs work (throw loops and drive rush both need balancing and they desperately need to step up the content roll-out) but it at least has top-of-its-class netcode, no obvious top 1 character, and a ton of single-player content.

Really like what they did with Alex (though I mourn the loss of another charge character... another sacrifice at the pillar of "accessibility"). He'll probably be buttcheeks in this game's meta but he's always kind of been a low-tier hero.

Capcom suddenly realized the fans don't want incest in their fighting games.

EDIT: I just read that sentence out loud and realized how fucked up that is. I can't believe no one at Capcom did the same.

They are just catering to the "modern audience".

Tifa is a bullshit waste of a slot. Knock her out? That bitch dead! How do ghosts even participate in a fighting tournament with their non solid grabbing asses?

No Q?
No Hugo?
Not a single student from Rival Schools?!

Ugh.

I pretty much agree with this sentiment. There are so many characters from this franchise, or even other fighting games (both Capcom and otherwise) that long time fans would have appreciated.

TIfa is cool but the slot would have been better served going to someone else.
