First match and the haters are in full force. What's sad is I beat this guy's ass, but he had a decent Cody, so I was going to send him a message saying "nice Cody," but got this before it was completed.

The precise reason I don't play in pickups online anymore. Friends and friends of friends only.
As for this, I DLed it this morning because I'm a moron completist but I'm just not 'feeling it.' I think I'm done with this game

Man, you run into a lot of bitches doing randoms, for sure, but there's also the chance of meeting great players whom you can add to your friends list. Just have to take the good with the bad. And, in this case, have fun with the bad.

I'm probably gonna pass on this, as I have the japanese PS3 Super 4 Vanilla. I'm pretty sure the DLC is region locked, that and the japanese PSN store is still down.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy you and others still get joy out of playing people online who you've never met. And I'm glad you also make opportunities to create new bonds.
My own view on it is 'Swim through enough sewage and eventually you find something of value.' Ony problem is...when it comes to online comp, I don't need to find anything of 'value.' I have a small circle of friends that still play fighters, and my nephew and his crowd play. I already have enough of the commodity that others seek through pickup online play. I'm plenty rich in the stock of 'fun matches' and 'fighting game friends.'

Some serious fun was had this morning. Out of all of them, I think I like Yang the most. For some reason, I'm having a brain fart because his teleport is 
+ kick and his upward kick is 
+ kick and the motions (at least in my head) seems like they would be the other way around. I'm not sure if this is the same in Third Strike (would make sense if it is), but I never touched him in that game so I have no experience. Still, I really like him in this game and may take him up as a secondary character to Cody.
Fucked around with Evil Ryu and Oni, and I'm not really feeling Evil Ryu. Oni plays different enough to make him feel different than the other shotos, but, I dunno... playing evil characters has really never been all that fun for me.

I'm actually having fun with ER and ONI, I think EVIL R has to be played offensively, he's got all the weapons for it, CR.MK does wonders, it seems you can FADC most of his moves, I have not try the twins yet, but its just ridiculous the amount of YUN'S and YANG'S players, I mean I think I fought 10 Yangs and the probably 15 YUNS, if anyone wants to play @Magocyber. hit me up.

Short on cash after my trip, plus I got a couple of other games I want to finish. I downloaded the patch that lets SSFIV players play against people with AE, so my question is, after I have that downloaded, does it change the properties of the other characters moves, or that only happens when I download AE? Guess I'll fire up a round and see how Bison is with the second ultra being a charge now.

lot of people been switching to Ultra 1. Ultra's 2 best component was it could be used at anytime and now thats just gone

naw you don't get the balance changes, but you can play with people that have AE, they just will be playing super whenever they play you, then it will switch back to AE when playing soemone who has AE. I think you also get alot of the replay theatre features.

nope I have no 360, just hit the home button and go open a MP3 in your xmb
it worked offline before but it would cut and return to the super SFIV soundtrack as soon as you go online
gonna have to put some music on my PS3 besides my sugar rush techno beats i had on there for burnout.
The overall package is kind of....i dunno bad? Not even a change of title screen or anything like that, no challenges for the new 4 characters.
