firstly must say I'm greatly chuffed that I found this PCB locally. I remember lusting over this game some 16 years ago (damn), and it's always been a special game for me. so I'm stoked.

I was doing a search on the PCB and came across a thread from 2004 where it was stated that the game goes for between 100-200 dollars usually - unless it's japanese and in that case it's 600 dollars. my question is are there any differences between the Japanese release and other regions or was this the price at the time in places such as the yahoo japan auctions (so it's the price the game was getting when it appeared in japanese sites)?
it was the TG16/PCE version that was censored right? not the US PCB? that only had a parental warning?

Whoops that sucks LOL I traded my japanese splatterhouse for a Naomi GDRom set (dimm and GDDRive + Cables). Oh well, splatterhouse arcade is just too damn hard to be enjoyable for me. Unlike the GDRom that gets daily love :)

hey I don't know if this is true, and in the case that it is, I don't know how true it is today.

here's the link to the thread:

Well I heard that Mak Japan (or was it GFront) had a Splatterhouse PCB + original art in their showcase next to a 3rd strike kit for $900. I figured the price was so high due to the art. I didn't know the loose PCB was that much. I put it somewhere in the $300 range (based on a past ebay sale, and a past forum sale). I dunno, its a sweet game, definitely recommend picking it up.
