The AW inserts cannot be printed for use in Shock Boxes. It seems easy to simply resize the existing inserts, but it isn't. The proportions aren't right, the spines are too small, etc. I do have good news for you though! I'm in the process of purchasing a bunch of the genesis cases myself. I'll put the foam in and sell them for a reasonable price on Southtown. Problem solved!

I am glad you mentioned that Eddie. When processing all the orders today I noticed a few people had ordered combination of Shockboxes, Neo Inserts and AW inserts. AW inserts are much smaller and as Eddie says, do not scale right.

All orders placed between launch and this afternoon are completed and will ship first thing Monday morning!

Hmmm?,

Something is wrong with your site. I'm trying to order NGBC & SS6 inserts and another Neo-Geo MVS insert, shockbox and the Shockbox Insert Cutting service for it as well as the 8 Neo-Geo MVS Inserts in my first order I placed on Thursday.
1 x Original Shockbox $8.50
1 x Metal Slug 5 NC/3 $3.00
1 x Samurai Shodown 6 LE/AW $3.00
1 x Neogeo Battle Coliseum LE/AW $0.00
9 x Shockbox Insert Cutting $11.25

Hello,

Hopefully I contacted you in time? I added 8 additional Shockbox Insert Cutting service for the Neo-Geo MVS Inserts in my first order I placed on Thursday. Please insert them into the shockboxes before you ship. Thanks...

Frank

Could it be that the NGBC is priced at $0.00? :spock:

Also a jp samurai showdown 3 insert with the cherry blossom leaves? I think that would be nice.
ss3display.jpg

1st pic- original JP Aes insert
2nd pic- my original Full-Frontal insert (based off the JP AES) (at southtown)
3rd pic-Le Geeks Full-Frontal using original illustration art and my back design. (at southtown)

I made a full-frontal based from the JP AES insert (second pic). It was done from scratch. I found all the artwork used (except for the exact one on top right of the back), layed it all out as close to the original and even got the Japanese insert translated (thanks to Beelzebubble). The only thing I didn't do and don't like to do is add the characters' names. It's as close as anyone has gotten with this title. Le_Geek added the original illustration and created a Full-frontal (3rd Pic) using my design and is probably the closest thing your going to find to the original.

I may do a quickie using the original illustration but keep the leaves on the front/spine but not anytime soon.

EDIT* heres that quickie:

One more thing I want to address real quick, we are in the business of printing the inserts and selling homebrew items, not design.

I have gotten quite a few requests to take inserts and customize, change colors, etc. As much as I would love to cater to everyone's requests, the inserts were not created by me. If you want a customization done to a current insert please contact the original designer and work it out with them.

The last thing I want to have a reputation for is "the guy that hacks everyone's inserts apart".

I Hope everyone can understand where I am coming from on this :)

i am going to add a new option to the store in a bit for shockboxes WITH inserts pre cut, you will have to list the inserts you want though in the order commenting field (just copy and paste). I will charge $1.00 - $1.25 extra for cutting since I have to do it by hand, does that sound fair?
Very fair. I would have gotten that with my order if it had been available.

Is it too late to send extra money and get this done or is my stuff already all packed? No sweat if it is, but it would be nice if I could. :)

Hrmm ... the cart's trying to require an extra $5.50 for shipping on the order. $1.25-$2 or so, I can do ... $6.75 for cutting is another story. :)

Yeah shipping is based on a flat table rate for anything related to inserts, because I can ship like 75-100 for the same price as 1. It would just be best for people to use at the time of order. I sent you a PM regarding your order, it's all taken care of now.

Thanks
Eric

I like the last one with the leaves on the spine. I think the inserts with the full picture on the fron are nice also. I would say make on almost exactly like that.

Good job!

Now we need the jp art of fighting with a english spine. I guess I could just take a jp insert if we had one and just insert the spine of the already existing eng insert. I just think that eng insert art is awful.

As for cutting inserts it is really easy. You can walk into almost any kinkos and use the cutters for free. I got so good I could 1 cut everything. It really is really easy. I could see for the members here who live in small towns that don't have a kinkos how the service would be appreciated though.

Exactly. Most of the people that have ordered cutting with their inserts the past couple days are from (what I think) somewhat rural areas.

Perfect option for me. Do you use a machine to cut the inserts? One by one or a few at a time? I'm very anal about these things, that's why I'm asking.

I am picky about the inserts too :)

I hand cut them, one at a time, with a metal straight edge (ruler) and sharp X-acto blades.

Can you put the SS6 AW insert up at loopyeddie.com please? I'd rather print my own like I've done with all the other inserts.

Yeah, we have a few new other inserts as well I need to put up. I have been terribly busy with work, school, and this site, so please bear with me. I'll get them up ASAP.

Quite a few people have emailed asking if we print "AES" size inserts. Unfortunately, we have no plans to offer "AES" size inserts, reproductions or otherwise. Sorry.

I'd like to have a couple inserts I created myself printed along with a number of inserts which are included on your site. The problem is the dimensions are slightly different (I'm using an old template, but it's basically the same) and they are in .bmp format as I haven't bought or stolen Photoshop. Can you accommodate this?
