AW Newstyle Cases

I got the new style cases in today for AW/ST-V carts. I am sending some samples out to a couple of current AW case orders I have (along with original EA Gensis cases) to see what people think of them. If all is well, they will be on the store in the next couple days.

Hey Dub, ive got a question for you. When you click on the picture, and it enlarges via that window over the original, what is that component/whatever called that allows it? I cant seem to find it, but I know its relatively common heh. Thanks

It's called Lightbox JS - a google search will get you the script, its publicly available.

In other news, our form took a shit and I can't figure out why. It will be a couple days until I can get the programmer to fix it up so I added a link to our GMAIL address for now. Sorry!

I love that script man, I used it on Southtown and when i built http://www.candycabinetcity.com (shameless plug) for Stellarola

Yea, I saw :) Im having a minor difficulty with the Gallery feature, but Ive used the Joomla version so i dunno if youd know anything. Basically, for the gallery, it loads up thumbnails of all the pictures in a folder correctly, but then when I try and load the large version, it doesnt work. Its redirecting to aborman.com, instead of the subdomain that it is under, ptop.aborman.com . /shrug, dunno if youd know anything about it heh. My sites down at the current moment for some reason, the host seems to be having some difficulties

Bad news: Unfortunantly, after a series of over-expending on my side, and the whole family overall, my original plan of buying a C-MVS on July has been posponed. How much??? Heck if I know. If my calculations are right, it will be 'till December when I will have time to buy it again.

Sorry, :(

Update

A little update for everyone....

Past week's orders
Was running a couple days behind with the holiday weekend and all. Almost everyones orders have been shipped this morning. If they did not go out this morning that means they are completed and will be dropped off at the post office tomorrow. Apologies for any delays.

AW Cases/EA Sports Recycling Hell
The whole recycling of EA cases for AW cases is done. It is too hard for us to find bulk quantities of cases in good enough condition. People who ordered recently, I did the best I could sending the cleanest cases I could choose from .... and Eddie tried hard with the initial hunting down EA games at crazy warehouses. After hunting, cleaning, prepping, quality controlling, it's just not a feasible thing to do at this point. If you ordered AW cases from our last batch and have any problems feel free to email me through the store or send me a PM and I will take care of things.

Regarding the new style cases for the AW carts. I don't have an AW cart so I purchased some of those cases in bulk based on measurements I obtained of an AW cart, and the fact that they fit an STV Titan cart as well. People who ordered AW/STV cases in the past week or so, I sent samples of the newstlyle cases to check out. Hopefully all is well and we can start offering better, newer, and far less expensive cases for your AW/STV carts. PM or email me your thoughts on the new cases. Your input is needed and appreciated.

Insert Downloading

Any insert that has been submitted since we announced the moving of the downloads is posted simultaneously on the site for purchase and for download. This will continue from now on out. Insert submission form has been functioning fine too.

All previous 500ish inserts (the ones I took days fixing all the Pink O's on) are uploaded to our FTP and simply need to be linked up properly to the items already existing in the store. Anyday now this will be done.

Upcoming Things
We obtained a few motherboards to start producing more consolized 1 slots so they should be ready sooner than later.

I have also been planning with a fabricator/woodworker I know regarding making some really awesome sticks. We plan on making sticks for both American style setup (Happ competition parts) and Japanese style (100% Sanwa). Sticks will be wired for neo only at this time as that is what most people have been asking for.

AaronD is still going through with the new shirt design he did, and wants to get a reprint of the NG logo finished soon too. A few other members have expressed their interests in putting other shirts for sale up there, and all of that is in discussion stages right now.

Thats all i can think of for now. Thanks for all the support from everyone these past 2 months!

I know that the stick is still in development and this is pretty early to ask, but is there any general price range that you guys are shooting for on the stick (<$100, $100-$200, etc.)?

We are definately aiming for $100- (well under) $200 mark. A few different kinds of sticks are planned made from different materials. Of course materials and components will determine the final cost.

Received my order yesterday and just wanted to say thanks for the great service and high quality prints.

Saved me the trip to Kinkos and having to explain to the clerks there what those "posters" were for.:kekeke:

Why would you need to explain? :lolz:

Yes, Kinkos sucks. The prints aren't consistent, look like crap most of the time, and most of all the chances of you finding and employee that gives a rats ass about Neo-Geo is slim to none. Run into an employee having a bad day, sure enough they might give you slack about "printing copywritten goods".

We love Neo-Geo and we have a better printer. That's the reason we started this service :)

Actually, I have printed batches in Kinkos 4 times before, and thankfully I've never been hit with copyright scorn. However, they are usually VERY curious about what the prints are for, and some girl even commented about how much she loved the art in them (must have been the Puzzle Bubble insert:kekeke: ). Guess I'm not paraniod enough to think that they are "scanning" potential infringers, and it seems they are genuinely interested in those weird prints.

Anyway, all you guys need now is figure out an economical way to print mini marquees, so that I can finally stop putting the Last Blade marquee when I'm playing Last Blade 2. Just writing about that bothers the obssesive compulsive hell out of me...

Exactly. Just about every printing service I've gone to raises an eyebrow about the prints and likewise, just doesn't give a shit about the work; so you end up with some bogus resolutions and crappy service. Screw that noise.

Southtown is awesome and you do a great job, dub.

Dub and Southtown own, Ive said it a hundred times...there it is again...the ONLY place I got "ok" results was one time at Copymax...no questions, printed me like 10 inserts on 10pt gloss, came out beautifully...however after getting a few orers from Southtown and seeing how much better the printer Dub uses is then theirs....I stand behind Southtown 100% now. Keep the quality coming Dub....nowhere to go but up :buttrock:

Speaking of shirts, any chance of some of the shirt designs from the neo-geo.com t-shirt contest getting printed up? If you haven't already, check the gallery out.
Some nice looking potential fits.

Thanks again ST for the great service. I will be placing another order soon.

Do you think there'll ever be a possibility of altering the inserts so that one can mix and match? Basically, it'd designating the back, spine, and front of each insert and allowing the user to mix and match for the perfect look? I know it'd take a lot of work to set up, and there may be issues about splicing the works of different artists, but there's so many inserts that look awesome except for certain small things (Insert A looks awesome, but the spine doesn't look as good as Insert B; Insert A has the best front, Insert B has the best spine, and Insert C has the best back; etc.).
