sound for neo geo arcade

Hello everyone,
I have an old board for my neo geo and on older games the sound works, but on newer games like mark of the wolves it is not only a static sound but I can hear other sound effects parcially that shouldn't be there. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to fix this. please someone help me i will be greatfull.

Hi,I get the same probs,if I change the sound from stereo to mono though it sounds as clear as possible with no static <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

It could be that your 'neogeo arcade' isn't correctly wired, the old-style 1-slot has mono and stereo out, the 1-slot mini has only mono sound. See the other threads on this board about mono/stereo, there's a link to the sound pinouts in there.
