Is this out? I thought it came out on the 31st.

I'll probably get it within the next month or so. Found some local players who are good at Tekken and SC so I've been playing those more than 2-D games lately.

Oops. Well, Id say this isnt the best time to try to get into SC4 considering SC5 is coming out Tuesday. But if I still had it Id play.

I have the game but no arcadestick, no competition from me to expect other then a bit of button bashing.
Well not that bad but you get the idea.

I was training for a SCIV tournament/ SCV release party, I didn't want to get there empty handed, if you know what I mean, I played with Astaroth and it was fun but I have lots more to learn. I'm getting SCV so hopefully we'll get to play some games on that later on.

Thanks for trying guys!

Max's videos made me bite the bullet. I skipped on SC III and IV so seeing the game in action online made me decide to get the release day shipping from Amazon. I like the character costume options. I haven't bothered with reading much news about the game so it'll be fresh and new to me. I just hope Xiung's daughter fights like her mom did in SC 1 and 2.

Picking up SCV first thing tomorrow. Read the text message the store sent me too late to pick it up. Store is closed now:(
But tomorrow morning will be glorious.
I am going to try to regain a bit of my old skills, as far as I had any in the first place.

Kind of liked the manga-ka guest characters they had in IV. Still, the whole Star Wars thing in IV was a bit too far-fetched.

Even for Soul Calibur.

I don't really know what to think with V. It's alright, but I don't know it just feels off to me. Granted I skipped three and four because I didn't hear very good things about them, but as I watched more videos of V in action it pushed me to buy it. I hate how they got rid of characters and now they have three Edge Master characters? Why? I was excited when I unlocked Kilik but he's just another Edge Master, the same with the final boss of Story Mode. Bet they'll wait for the fan backlash and add them in as paid DLC.

IV and V are both awesome games. Even III is good, people have their own opinion and that's great but I for one can care less what the general consensus is with the SC series.

I play fighters the most so I welcome change whenever it comes, if every Soulcalibur played like SCII it would be pointless. With that said, I have to say that SCII is my favorite but the changes made to SCV in the 8way run are really cool and add a new dynamic to the fight.
