Devil May Cry 4 was easily the biggest PS3 game I was looking forward to.

Guess I'm going to be saving a lot of money not buying a PS3.

Last I heard, MGS4 was almost definitely going to be ported to 360... Kojima doesn't want to have anything to do with it because he's a Sony fanboy, but Konami basically said "fine, we'll do it ourselves then".

Anyone who thinks there's loyalty in console gaming is kidding themselves.

If the Sony doesn't start selling more PS3's (which it won't because it's overpriced), MGS4 will be ported to the 360 - that's all there is to it.

Konami execs aren't going to care about something as silly as Sony loyalty when it's putting their bottom line at risk.

This wasn't a surprise. Once the rumor hit a while back that it was going to be multi-platform, especially considering the current landscape of console gaming, it seemed like a done deal. Sounds good to me, since I'll be able to play DMC4 now.

And if MGS4 were to be ported to 360, it can take the time it needs and come on as many discs at it needs. Considering my current opinion on the PS3 is really low, being able to get it on another system at all will be good for myself. Besides, they ported at least one MG game in the past on an Xbox console, so it's not too far-fetched.

Good, so the devs finally got smart. I don't see why any third party dev would want to only release their game for one system. You can't tell me they're getting paid so much for being an exclusive that it makes up for sales on 1 or more other consoles.

LOL sounds like typical sony spin, you been reading PSM i see. Anyhow there are no games at all on HD-DVD, but most of whats on bluray is games. There are more gamers willing to buy new technology than movie buffs, so don't go comparing apples to oranges. Compare bluray game sales to the 360's game sales, or compare the bluray movie sales to the hd-dvd, but don't go comparing movies + games(ps3) to games(360).

I wouldn't be surprised if Square ports FF13 to 360. Maybe a 6 month exclusive for the PS3 then enhance it slightly with additional sidequest and what not for the 360.

Keep pushing Sony...with this, that's only two exclusives the system has that interest me now (MGS4 and FFXIII, don't care about anything else announced). Buying a Wii just for No More Heroes is starting to look more practical by the minute.
