SOmething odd

I never log out, but when I exit out and then come back it's says I have to log in, but I'm listed as one of the members logged on the forums main page. I'm not exactly sure what's going on ,but it is a little weird.

Same here, it always says I'm not logged in, all the time. Even if my name is in the 'Who's Online' section at the top of the forums selection. It's weird and it bugs me a little, but I've learned to just ignore it. As long as I can post thats cool enough for me.

Logins are managed by cookies. If you have cookies disabled on your browser, you'll have to log in every time you come back. Make sure that you have cookies enabled so you won't have to log in every time . . .

That's what doesn't make sense. I must have my cookies enabled for this site because I'm never required to manually login everytime I'm here. It does automatically log me in when I come here. It's just that on the main forum page, it just says I'm not logged in, when in fact I actually am. Strange, but not a problem since I don't have to login all the time.

One time I was already logged in at home and it said my password didn't match.

Well I never had problems like these on the ng.com board, but on other UBB-based forums.
According to the members list I was online, but could not view a thread (they were visible only for members). I was told to log in, when I did so it told me that my username did not exist...strange.

I never log out from the forums here and strange thing is that I deleted all of my cookies last week and when I entered the ng.com site after re-booting my computer, I was still logged in automatically....odd indeed
