I was looking at a advert site today and there was a new post which read:

NEO GEO WITH 9 games, 2 joypads, memory card, requires step down transformer, quick sale, £30.

Now i phoned the guy non stop all day and when i did get through some one was going to look at it. He confirmed it was a Neo Geo Cart system with 2 big chunky joysicks. ( I didn't ask him about the games because i wanted to cry).

The thought of just one game is going to be worth £30 ($45) let alone 9 with the system.

So some guy in the UK has a cart system with 9 games joysticks ETC for £30 ( $45 ).

I am sure that all of you would like to join in with me and say LUCKY B*****D.

If there are any home carts in the lot that the guy doesn't want, at least he'll find out what he can resell them for- selling one of them will make him back that $45.

i wonder what the guy's face will look like when he finds out that it's worth that much.

the games better have been diggerman and karnov's revenge, but if they were KoF 2K and Garou: MotW i would have started to cry.

yes these deals are possible. the key is to KEEP YOUR BIG MOUTHS SHUT! even if the place already sold some rare games or systems dirt cheap they might still get some in despite what they say. so dont tell them what it was worth just for kicks cuase you might be kicking yourself in the ass when they get another game back in which is worth a few hundred bucks and they charge that price because you just had to give them the info.

right now I am trying to get A metal slug(ENGLISH) home cart from A guy I worked with.and I am also buying A home system from somebody plus he has A bunch of games (I have not found out which ones yet) the key is to wait for A good deal to come along
I am getting all of this at sick prices
because these people are not collectors, they bought this stuff A while back and dont play it any more. its my payoff for sitting patiently and waiting for A deal to come along.

Wow... that even beats my deal of 2 Neo Geo systems with 14 games for $525. US versions of KOF '94 & '95, World Heroes Perfect, Samurai III and Gowcaiser were just a sample of the games included.

Yes... he is a lucky son of a gun. But I hope that lets people know that deals are out there if you look.

Hmmmm... maybe this would be a reason to get an international calling plan?

I have dreams like that sometimes - a deal too good to be true. I also have this re-occuring dream that someday I'll walk into a thrift shop and find the motherload of all Neo*Geo deals for cheap.

I can dream can't I.

Hello, I was reading all these great, to good to be true deals so I happened to check out a pawn shop abbout 20 miles away to look for a neo system and games. Though they didn't have any at the time, the guy said they get a somewhat constant flow of systems and games that they sell. The last system he sold with MOTW went for $400. PAWNSHOPS are the best place to look for neo stuff, trust me, I'm keeping my eyes open for pawn shops from now on after hearing this.

Also their is a guy I'm ordering a mint(like the ones that shawn sell) in box with everything cart system, with old school joystick, with 2 games SS and FF like new. The total price for all this is $190. He's sending me the system first then I will pay him, he really trusts his customers. I'll let you know how it works out and give anyone his email address if interested.

Try to beat this: I found Dragon Warrior 3 and 4 for NES both complete and in excellent condition for $3 each. Of course I picked them both up. <IMG SRC="smilies/cool.gif" border="0">
