skipping it now that there is the pay to play online service.
Everything I have read indicates that the pay portion isn't necessary unless you just want access to clan creation and all the stats they keep. If you just want to jump on and kill people it should be fine. Another thing to consider is if you are one of those people who buys all the map packs anyway a year of elite includes all the first year worth of map packs so that alone evens out the price. 4 map packs at $15 each is $60. However, I feel like this is a slippery slope into Activision charging for online accounts period. Their head guy (Keotik sp?) even stated once about 2 years ago that if he could he would charge monthly for CoD's multiplayer and this seems like his way of testing the temperature of those waters. If they ever straight up require a monthly fee like WoW I will never touch another Activision title that doesn't have a Blizzard logo on it again.
To answer the topic PC or 360. Haven't decided yet. Depends on which one has more of my friends online. I can't stand playing these games with pugs on 360.
Elite is a useless new thing, dont worry about it.
I'm just gonna murder people in multiplayer. If anyone wants to get murdered you can add me, EatMyV. <y KD is horrid as I'm an avid Domination player. When I play Domination I play it trying to get no kills and just capping flags, it's the way I like to play it. Fucks your KD but love people's reaction when you are the dominator with 0 kills and you have the highest score. Then you hear the idiots in the lobby say shit like "How the hell did he get that high a score if he got no kills?" ugh.
I need to get a new controller, for some reason my TL headset doesn't work well with the USB controller, only works with the wireless ones.
