There are videos surfacing of a cop on horseback trampling an old lady with a walker at the protest. Now followed by a statement from police claiming the walker was a bicycle thrown at the horse, even though it's obvious from multiple videos taken from multiple angles that it's complete bullshit.

So anyways, the general sentiment in Canada (particularly Ottawa) isn't that the goverment has been too heavy handed.
It seems to be that they treated the miscreants too lightly and gave them too much leeway and for far too long.
