Doing windy is fun, but it's super niche. I needed something with more wide appeal. I decided to do a used computer shop. Everything in it has been upgraded to at least 8gb ram (except when dealing with embedded/ non upgradable stuff) and to windows 10 pro (with the exception of one machine that is new in box still so it stayed at windows 8). There's a bunch of cheap machines that I've had good luck turning into solid emulator boxes in the $50-$60 range. Everything is a clean install. No grey market activation codes. I was able to keep it all legit.
The other half of this project is the charity side. It comes with a little story: Over the winter while i was prepping this thing I was outside shoveling the snow from my driveway. I saw one of the neighbor kids walking by and he was visibly upset and crying. I asked if he was ok and he said his folks had to pawn the family computer because his dad lost his job. He had to walk a couple miles in the snow to get to the library so he could do his homework. I told him to head back home and i'll set him up. A few minutes later I knock on their door. I talk to the kids mom, let him know what I'm working on and hand her a Dell laptop with open office on it. I tell her its so the kid doesn't have to go back and forth to the library (I know these people- it's not like we're strangers here). I tell her it's my pleasure and good luck.
That experience made me think a bit. So for this new site, I added a charity feature. I realized this kid's story sadly isn't unique. I worked it out with a couple school districts and for every 10 computers I sell, i'll donate one to a kid who needs a machine but can't afford it. In this day and age, everyone should have access to some kind of computer.
TL; DR -
I made a new site that sells cheap used and upgraded computers. If you need a cheap machine for a project, travel, or just a simple everyday laptop check it out.

I also created a discount code for the opening good for 10% off entire orders. : https://shopucw.com/discount/neo10
