Its more of something we moonlight doing --but I'm all for posting the real names of people who've scammed people. If they want to get their name removed, they can fix the deal. That's not the case here, of course, but I just wanted to make that opinion known.

That's bizarre - I tried logging into the SNKP forums to see what all the fuss was about - and I've been banned! I don't even remember registering over there, let alone posting. Let alone posting anything that would get me banned.

Tora's revenge?!

You're not crazy, you're just doomed, but we'll keep you around nonetheless.

Missed my poste eh? :emb:

The sake post was from the "Ask Alba" thread you linked to.

; )

I shudder to think how that thread managed to make 82 pages. The mind recoils in horror.

(Scroll down to the bit about Japanese food.)

This guy's never had a glass of sake in his life - he has no idea what he's talking about.

My Favorite Drink With Sushi has to be Sake' any place that can fix a mean tall glass of Sake is a place I want found because it not only tastes good depending on who brews it. Sometimes it's either a hit or miss depending on who serves it. I like mines strong strong enough to knock me out but to also have me wanting to come back for more granted I dont drink everyday only on the important nights and the nights that are really depressing.

lmao. no clue about sake.

SamuraiShodownSensei's probably right - five bucks says it's Tora.

I don't know at this point. Tora seemed to use more punctuation with better sentence structure. This guy's run ons last half a fucking page.

Has anyone tried reading through his fucking awful review of Fatal Fury Battle Archives vol.1?

When I got to this point in the review I forced myself to stop, otherwise I would have climbed up the nearest multiple story building and hurled myself off of it. Granted I wanted to do so from the start of it.

My god, where do people like this come from? :oh_no:

I take it that Alba doesn't like games with high difficulty. Also, those tier listings are ridiculous.

Indeed.

That and the Level 4 ~ 8 thing really cracked me up.

What a loser.

Fatal Fury 1 ( Garou Densetsu )

The first game in the Fatal Fury Saga this game is the one that started it all for me after (P.O.W) Prisoners Of War by SNK the classic game that started it all for me three hits and your dead but anyways. Fatal Fury was the featured game in the Jerrys Subs and Pizza that was next to my house so I used to walkover there all the time to play it during this time I was a kid so I got owned a lot by Micheal Max which didnt really bother me seeing as I thought he was much cooler than Balrog until they decided to not put him in another game for reasons that are displayed during Fatal Fury 2.

Which kinda angered me a little but I will always cherish the unforgettable memories I had of standing infront of the SNK Cabinet with those multi colored buttons and the classic words that will always hit my heart with extreme joy. ( MVS ) - Level 4 - however once we all started getting the hang of it the store owner switched the dip switches on the original cabinet and turned it to level 8 ever since then we stopped playing it.

Yeah, those are some great memories and all.

Except Fatal Fury 1 doesn't have an option to display the difficulty level at the bottom of the screen.

Go ahead, check the soft dips in MAME. There's no option to display the level.

According to Alba, in "HIS" very own Maximum Impact universe anything is possible. People must be happy to be in their own little world like that. I swear, just checking those SNKPUSA forums links is like checking out a blog. Next thing you know there's going be personal ads and a live web cam show.

That dipshit's run-ons are unbelievably annoying. He could be the worst writer I've ever seen. No grammar, no sentence structure, no punctuation, no capitalization, and his opinions fucking suck b/c he's a God damned moron.

I like how he came here with a second account to try and defend himself, and only made it worse :tickled:

I tried registering there. It said that an admin had to activate the account, but everytime I try to get the email, it says you have to login.

why are you even interested in shit like that? from the small pieces I've read, it doesn't seem like a place I'd like to visit, let alone become a member of and post.

No this guy just desperatley wants a job with SNK, and he thinks his ticket to getting it is by posting so much that he becomes an icon on their boards. I work in music, and see it happen so much, where people just constantly bombard you with CD's and are always talking about how much they love this album or that album, because they think you will become impressed with their love of music and give them a job. People don't understand that the music business, just like the gaming business, is not short of people who are enthusiastic about the subject. There are literally millions of people equally as passionate, however, only a few thousand jobs open to fill. What those people also don't understand is that the music business doesn't need people who are simply passionate about music, but people who are passionate about music as well as able to actually do something. Rarely do you have a job where you just sit around and listen to music all day, or play video games all day, you need some other skill to go along with it. Same as in gaming, Alba doesn't understand that just because he is obsessive about SNK doesn't mean they are going to hire him in his dream job of simply play testing games and giving his opinions on them. Opinions aren't good enough, if they need people at all, they need people to play the games, and be able to not only say "it needs better graphics", but actually tell them how to achieve those better graphics through programing or whatever it is you can do to achieve better graphics. Another thing, jobs in music or gaming don't pay even close to what people envision them, if anything they actually pay worse. The only ones who make killer money are innovators, who start there own thing or invent something new. I hope Alba reads this, so he can stop wasting his life away posting, and either shuts the hell up, or start taking gaming design courses so at least he is realistically getting closer to his goal.
