Maybe. No updates since MS7 was announced. So, doubtful if not for much longer.
The phone number that is on the whois registry is now a Turkish Restaurant.
I wouldn't be surprised if snkplaymoreusa.com isn't renewed on August 13th, 2009.
Especially with Ignition taking over the distribution in the US.
Looks like he's (Ben Herman) been made redundant.

Ben Herman is/was the President of SNK & SNKPlaymore's USA branch of operations.
He doesn't seem to pride himself on valuing Customer Service at all.

I've talked to Ben Herman several times through e-mail in the early stages of the company. He was actually pretty cool. But as things went on, he kinda disappeared in the background. The rest of the people there are total assholes. I can't tell you the nasty e-mails I received from asking just simple questions.
However, they pretty much are a really small branch of the company, and they get bombarded by e-mails about how the ports dont live up to the actual games, and how the games should be better, etc. etc., so I can imagine that would be annoying. Especially when 90% of it is really not their choice but happens to do with what playmore wants I think.
But yea, I am pretty sure the US division is out of business. I tried to drop them an email a couple weeks ago and it got returned to me. I am still not sure whether that means we are getting SS Shodown or not. If KOF XII doesnt get a release here, I will jsut import it.
