Just a heads up, but they recently announced end of service on that one anyway. We kinda sorta have that with KOF All Stars, but that's handicapped with mobile gacha BS.

: kernow:It's really unfortunate that NGBC got left in the dust. It's the best SNK fighting game of the 2000's if you ask me. Would love to see another one made but I'm not holding my breath.
Guess the insane power creep and predatory micro-transactions ran their limit of profitability.Just a heads up, but they recently announced end of service on that one anyway.
Yep, I've been saying Shenmue or Yakuza type AoF game would be cool for a few years now.Not that it would ever happen, but a Shenmue style adventure game would be awesome. Really get to see Southtown and experience the characters.
Taunting and power bar management are fundamental to making Art of Fighting "Art of Fighting".I'm on board with another AOF fighting game, so long as the taunt mechanic is removed and it doesn't regress to the "hold attack button longer for a stronger attack" gimmick that early World Heroes games implemented.
I still have a soft spot for AOF1. That game had a gritty atmosphere that was unique to itself among all SNK fighting games. Fighting in a dimly lit bar, a seedy alley, a factory, and an upscale restaurant with a piano...those backgrounds have aged beautifully. Whether it's a fighting game or beat-em-up, just keep the original cast.
You mean KOF 94?They could throw in some Fatal Fury characters, or even do a sort of 'SNK All Stars' or 'King of Brawlers' type game where they add other famous SNK franchises like Ikari and Psycho Soldier.
It could work so long as it retained that early 90s, pre KoF aesthetic before the times when it was all about Orochi and Kyo clones.
KoF 94 doesn't feel like the rest of the series. You mean KOF 94?
