I can only hope. Seems like they may want to make some changes in it though...if it's intact I'm all for it. I'd have to download the torrents though.

It is a pretty cool show. Probably one of the best half hours on tv in a long time.

I don't get cable. AD is the only show I try to watch on TV. Just great.

I don't get Showtime, but I'd still manage to find a way to get my grubby mits on the episodes if it shifted over to Premium Cable.

As long as the format doesn't change... and they don't try to make it more "Adult" for the channel. It's a great show, but I'd rather see it die here in it's prime than to be toted to another station and lose steam. We don't need another show on life support.

Yeah, I agree. More obscene content wouldn't jive with the show's atmosphere.

A large part of the show is seeing how well they work within their limits, like seeing how far Tobias can push his innuendo without falling prey to the network censors.

I read another article (don't have a link) where one of the creators was talking to NBC about picking it up

also, HBO has been in the rumor mill about picking it up, figuring it'd be a good companion to Curb your Enthusiasm

either way, I'd rather have the cable networks pick it up, as this show is dying to be uncensored

and I'll make sure to get a subscription if it does

i don't want some cable network picking it up one cause i don't have good cable anymore (just basic for me) and two cause the show is great how it is. letting it go to cable would mean that they will make it more adult and lose the innocence that characters like george michael portray. and then lose the innuengo brought in by tobias. and lose the sexual idiocy of GOB and basically just ruin the show. i mean i don't want to see barry zuckercorn pickup a hooker and actually do her. i want him to drive up to them and go "you're not one of those crazy guys who dresses up like a girl" only to hear her go "i'm all woman baby" then drive off. that's what i want. i want innuendo, i want off the wall jokes and i want the audience to be able to still be oblivious if they don't "get it" showtime, HBO, cinemax, and any other network on cable would kill the show more than it already is dying.

I don't think that will happen if it's picked up by a cable network. You might get some adult things added in, but people aren't going to want it to be completely raunchy. They are going to want it to pick up where it left off.

That's probably my favorite Barry Zuckercorn moment in the entire show. :buttrock: :buttrock:

ummmm, nah

I think you just won't get the "beeps" anymore when they cuss

I doubt they'd make it a fuck fest or something

Roker, I love you... we'd fuck if we knew each other in real life... you know this... but I have to disagree. I think the bleeps are funnier than what is actually said. I've heard fuck, shit, etc enough... When Buster went off for a good 45 second bleep... that had me rolling. It wouldn't have been as funny if you could have actually heard what he was saying.

yeah

that episode was classic, but that's just one example

I still can see it benefiting the other way

come to think of it, it was funny when Lindsey told Tobias to beep her after he asked her to say something to scare him
