That's a nice Exceleena! Did it come Jamma or JVC?

Thanks! It's wired for JAMMA. The connector is missing sides, though, so whenever I change the board I have to carefully line it up, which annoys the crap out of me. Also, when I got it the person I bought it from hacked up the mini molex harnesses in the CP, cutting off the quick connects so they could solder wires to cherry microswitches :oh_no: Fortunately I had some of those quick connects laying around, so I fixed it and now it snaps in perfectly to those awesome Sanwa buttons.

FUCK ME I love talking about it.

I'm thinking of picking up a candy cab in a few months. Is there a good wiki page describing different candy cabs or anything?

I suggest you scroll back through the pages in this thread, you'll see planty of different cabs and then you can do some research in the style you like and see foryourself what's gonna suit you the best, but for the most parts most candies are good, if you're new to this whole thing I suggest you keep it jamma, or JVS with a jamma converter or I/O like they call it. Actually better stay Jamma.

Thanks, I've done so and found a couple useful links, besides all of the useful posts.

I remember reading in a thread that someone had some Egret II's leftover from a recent group purchase, but they were on the east coast. How does shipping even work with arcade cabinets? I probably won't have the scratch to purchase one of these for a few months, but I wouldn't mind getting rid of my meh conversion cab for a candy.

Now that my egrets are here, I'll show them off. I decided to keep them in my bedroom, rather than mix them up with the woodies.

I'm thinking I should put the Aero in the middle. Sort of a "big brother" thing.
