Should she have just LEFT?
Sheriff too forceful?
Let's hear it.

Family is gonna get PAID tho.
Cops being baited into lawsuits is the norm now.
My first reaction was I deserved that and more when I was at school, so yeah, fuck her.
Cap 'em...
...one in the chest... two in the head...
It's the only way they'll learn...

Other way around, Rot.
Djibouti Shooty technique is two in the chest, one in the head.
People need to stop trying to fight the police during an arrest. It's not going to go well for you. If you have a legitimate complaint, sue them.
You'll hurt them more in the pocket book.
Lawyers say "don't talk to cops", which is sound advice.
However, if a cop is going to arrest you, he's going to arrest you. There's is no version of the story where they'll say "Ya know? I'm not gonna arrest you." - will NEVER happen. Sitting there and mouthing off like a fucking 4 year old isn't going to help you case much.
Trashy people think different, apparently.
Somehow, I don't think that is the proper way to remove a student. Going ass over tea-kettle in a desk.
She could have had her neck broken.
If the parent of a child removed them in that matter, they would be arrested for child abuse and reckless endangerment.
They would temporarily lose custody of all children.
And a student should never be arrested for any of that shit.

How else was he supposed to move her? Ask for her hand?
Try as I might, I cannot think of a way to extricate someone from a desk who is being arrested except by force.
I mean, it's not like he can taze her. She's not a threat enough yet to warrant that escalation, and you can't let her go once you say she's under arrest. That's dereliction of duty.
How else do you remove someone from a desk that doesn't want to move?
Exactly.
I'm not sure either, to be honest.
I don't know what in the hell I'd do, clear the room and shoot her in the face with pepper spray? I bet she'd be A-ok with getting her ass up after that...
How else was he supposed to move her? Ask for her hand?
Yeah...this is my point. Something had to be done and she was no tiny gal. Sitting in a desk of that nature, refusing to move, weighing a good 125+ lbs...what else was he supposed to do? Especially when pissed off...
If she was "no tiny gal" (OMG 125lbs), then how did he sling her across the room like a lawn dart?
Anyways, there are effective tactics to de-escalate the situation, and remove a person with the necessary use of force.
Use a distraction to get an arm. I don't know if you guys have ever been arrested, but the cops are very quick with those cuffs.
Or better yet, how about deescalating the situation:
1. Grab the desk and remove the student from the social situation. Allow her to back down outside of the peer pressure.
2. Wait her out. The staff gets paid by the hour right? Give her time to think about her course of action.
Something did not "have to be done".
And they arrested a second student for expressing her displeasure with the whole thing.

DumbCunt said:"I was crying, screaming and crying like a baby," says Kenny. "I was in disbelief."
It's not his job to "wait her out"...
