Well, upon beating this game for the 123456789th time, I can tell you right now that if your a fan of the beat em' up gerne, your gonna love Sengoku 3. Graphics are not to flashy in the background department, but as far as characters and foes, animation is tops. Sure repetition may get get on some peoples nerves but, what is this combo system thingy again?

The combo system is sweet. Once you figure out how to make your enemy go air borne, you can do combos that range up in the teens (and probably higher). Sengoku 3 make's great use of the "custom" combo system. That is, you can make your own custom combo .

Playable characters are nice, especially that cute girl...

The control takes a bit to get used to, and the collision detection is really hard to get used to when you first play the game. After you've given it a go two or more times, you will get used to the play mechanics of Sengoku 3. This game has a lot to offer.

Shawn did us a big favor when he got this game released state-side. I can't stand to see so many copies of Sengoku 3 just sitting in the neo-store...

BUY SENGOKU 3! You will not be dissapointed.

Thanks,

Bryan

My favs are Kongoh (very high damage), Falcon (very good specials) and byakki (best weapon)!

since you guys are so into the game, how about a boss guide?

I can't beat the final boss without using a gazillion continues.

It's shameful, but I guess I never really played beat em ups after double dragon 3.

I used A+B+C when hit by the last boss to avoid taking huge damage. Meanwhile combo the henchmen to build up your power for special attacks against the boss. Keep your distance with the boss so you can avoid his barrage of spells.

for me it just takes forever. When he casts a spell you have play jump rope, jumping over the crawling things that zip across the floor, then avoid his minions while trying to get in a good combo... It's a hard fight.
