Sengoku 2 vs Knights of Valour 2 Nine Dragons

In my opinion IGS's KOV 2 Nine Dragons is superior to Sengoku 2. It's more of a classic Beat them up.
What do you guys think?

Sengoku 2 is hard as nails and KOV2 is ( like most of PGM titles ) soul-less.

It should be compared with Sengoku 3, which is from the same era.
Early 90's Capcom ones are better than all those.

I've been playing KOV titles on PGM1 recently (all 6 of them!).

Tend to feel that the KOV titles are some of the best side-scrollers I've played to be honest.

KOV2 is very much what I'd expect a successful SNK beat em up to have been like tbh.

I thought it was up againts knights of the round. But I agree with Atro, those early 90s cpacom beat em ups are godly.

Sengoku 2 > any of the PGM beat em ups.

Those PGM games just feel weird to me.

Ah i was a capcom guy but fucking lived on the beat em ups.Local arcade was full of caps finest and there they remained for years with lack of anything else.Our choice was limited..But fuck i was good at Final Fight..

Sengoku 2 for me but then I only finally managed to pick a copy up a few weeks ago so been playing non stop since!

Them pgm games do grow on you. I got a bundle about a year ago, and at the time I thought demon front was awful, but I play it quite a bit now.

With the kov games, I think there is a good amount of depth to them. In find myself playing kov superheroes more than nine dragons though.
