Is there any mounting plate that I can use to install Seimitsu LS-32's on a Sanwa Astro City panel?? I have been searching for Seimitsu panels but no dice.

You can use VF plates on sanwa JLF mounts with the LS-33/LS-33-01, LS-55/LS-55-01 and LS-56/LS-56-01 sticks

IIRC, a plate for the LS-32 that will fit JLF mounts doesn't exist. Maybe you could just modify a Seimitsu RE plate, all you need is a drill :)

There is more than 1 type of sanwa mount. Are we talking old school style with the single hole on each side, or the newer "licensed by sega" type that have the longer mounts and additional holes in the corners too?

Pretty recently I was made aware that the newer style is indeed compatible with RE plates.

I have ordered 3 new Sanwa panels from akishop so it must be the newer models, I'm kinda lost about the different Seimitsu plates, all I know is that the 2x LS-32 spares I have came with a flat plate, but I also have a pair LS-32 "SS"plates, and an "NA" plate installed on my custom stick with an LS-40.

My biggest concern is the height of the LS-32 stick (which is already shorter than the JLF) once is mounted on the Sanwa panel, I don't care about the holes since I can always drill new ones.

oh yeah... I forgot the new sanwa panels have different mounts.

this is the back of the OOM-8-6AR-H you ordered.

your SS plates may fit too, thus lifting the stick up.

Well that's great then, I was already thinking into cut the original plates then solder the LS-32 plates directly into the panel since I only use LS-32 joysticks, I also have a couple of JLW's that I could try to install on my 3rd Astro City which I plan to use mainly for running tests on vertical games.

when you get the ls-32's mounted to your liking, please post a pic. ive run into the same dilemma recently with wanting to mount ls-32s in my sega boardmaster supergun.

I will, but don't hold your breath, after making some measurements I have my doubts about any Seimitsu stick fitting into Sanwa panels.

That's odd. I have a versus panel that has sanwa mounts and my LS-32 fit right in. The stick is short bit I'm fine with that as I play with my index and thumb. Plus the stick never hits the sides either.

No, I'm still waiting for my panels to arrive, that is if the the guy from Akihabarashop hadn't died in the last typhoon that hit Japan this past month.

That typhoon really slowed down shipping in Japan, my auction stuff took forever to get to my proxy bidder.

I received a box from Akishop today, I only got the buttons and the joystick parts...but it seems that he "forgot" to send me the 3 empty Sanwa panels!!!!!!!...WTF?? not only that, this box came by EMS, and I chose SAL as the shipping method, I don't understand what is happening, should I start to worry about this?? I already tried to contact them but I have not been answered yet.

Good chance they messed up, it seems pretty common with akishop. Another possibility is that the panels are such a different size, it made more sense to ship them separately.
Good luck with getting that sorted, I've heard too many complaints about orders getting messed up and overall delays to ever want to order from them (if I can help it).
