My net cities each have one of these boards in them, sega 838-13816-91. Googling that part number yields next to nothing aside from some YAJ listings.
Far as I can tell it's for versus linking of the cabs. Each has one video in with 2 outs, same for audio. The cab itself has two USB cables going between the IO board and the main PCB area. The JVS (USB) chain seemed to go from NAOMI to the IO, then the second cable runs from the IO back to one of these boards. I'm thinking it's to extend another node on the IO so each cab uses its own IO board for versus play.
I'm really curious if anyone knows anything more about this board, or how they're supposed to be wired. I'm not planning on linking my cabs at this point but you never know. I also figure if I had any more info maybe I could figure a fair price and sell them to someone who will actually use them.
