Put Kazuma Kiryu, Hotsuma, Ryo Hazuki, Blaze Fielding and Ichiban Kasuga in it and I'll consider it.
I feel like it'll definitely have Yakuza characters since RGG Studios is handling it.

So is VF5 being updated for consoles as well? Can I play it on PS5 with rollback?

I get it, many of you guys don't like the series. That's fine, maybe just don't post in a thread you don't care about. I don't like nicotine, that's why I'm not posting in the thread talking about it

This forum would get 5 posts a year if we stopped thread crapping. Consider your position carefully.

Haha.

It's true that this place probably wouldn't be active anymore without all the lovely crankiness, wouldn't want to have it any other way, that's for sure.

I like VF, if you don't, fire away.

I doubt it - although, I think that's a miss. Sega dropped a 30-minute overview of their immediate plans with the series and they specifically stated multiple times that while all the REVO updates are currently live on the PS4/5 version (like the balance updates and what not) they only spoke about rollback being on the Steam version and that for all upcoming tournaments, they will be using the Steam version exclusively. Not sure if that means the PS version won't get rollback or not, but I don't recall them stating that.

I always assumed you were a chain smoking Sikh. Now I find out you don't even like nicotine. Then I zoom in and that's not even a turban!

Mind blown.

I don't even dislike VF. I recognize that it's a deep game... I just don't like 3D fighting games in general and it never grabbed me. I was 100% serious about being happy for the people who play it. More fighting games, the merrier. It is objectively true that no one in America plays it though. It's always been an afterthought in the FGC and the general public prefers flashy Tekken and VF's retarded weeb cousin DoA.

Just saw some CES previews and what they're showing looks really impressive. I'm sure the match was choreographed, so I'm hoping there's some hands-on previews soon.

Dragons Forever?! In a VF teaser?! I have no idea what the RGG team is up to, but I am fully prepared to let them cook. :buttrock:

Since this is a concept, are they planning to move further into Dead or Alive counter territory? I know we already have Aoi and auto-counters like Jacky’s Pak Sao, etc, but I wonder if this concept trailer is teasing a much heavier lean in that direction from a mechanic standpoint (compared to the greater focus on juggles that the latter revisions of VF5 leaned into).

Thanks for the heads up @Ralfakick!
