For those of you who weren't able to download the clip and if noone else is willing to host the clip, I can add more funds to my streamload account to allow downloads but I will need donations. 1000MB of downloads costs $5. I already shelled out $5 in order to share the clip hoping someone could host the clip.

I can host the clip, but need to dl it first.

so sorry the cut ppl in half or having blood spray out of them when you score a good hit to kill them is OUT?

as are the special moves you can only do in rage mode when the opponent has a blue bar (zetsumi ougi moves)?

both are OUT? in the aes version?

they are both definitely in the arcade version..

So wait.. you know that the fatalities are in the actual arcade release and not the beta?

They didn't take out the zetsumi ougi moves, they are still there. :)

You're right, sorry to forget your posts. Thanks for the opinion.

You said that the AI was good if I remember well, could you be more precise?

In fact I was expecting more gameplay oriented posts on this thread but it quickly came to the fatalities and never left it.

The AI is not as stupid as in SS5. I remember fighting against Ukyo with Nakoruru in SS5. To win against the AI all you had to due was send the bird after his ass. Ukyo would always get hit and say "damnit". It was 100% sure method of getting a perfect each time.

In SPECIAL, the AI isn't stupid. I usually only get to play against the CPU so it was a nice surprise when the AI went into Concentration/Meditation and I went into slow mo.
The AI will actually make an effort this time around when you do the sword clash. So you better push those buttons or the AI will knock the sword out of your hands!
It's harder to perform the Sword Breaker special on the AI. It will block it all the time.

There are some really cool sound effects added. Better blocking sounds.i.e. Shizumaru's umbrella. When then fighters get cut with an A or B attack you get a nice flesh slicing sound.

The intro to each new round has this cool little jingle (tune) for each of the two fighters separated by a quick drum roll.

If you perform the censored OverKill move you will hear that awesome drum music.

Alot of the stages have the sound of howling wind. I think the soundtrack on Amakusa's stage is one of the coolest with the owl hooting in the background.

Backgrounds. So far I've seen:
Mina's background from SS5 only it's nighttime.
Zakuro's background from SS3.
Mizuki's background from SS2 remixed.
Amakusa's background which in now the stage in front of the Castle from SS4 (nothing different here except for no crows eating the hanging carcass in the background).
Prehistoric Isle (Haohmaru's bg from ss2)- day and night.
NEW:Room full of Referrees -day and night.
NEW:In front of a wooden bridge- one version with villagers and one with just a dog.
Yoshitora's bg from SS5 but now his room is clean and their's a snow-covered garden in the back instead of the mountains.
Yunfei's bg but now mountains replacing the Buddha in the background.
Kusaregedo's bg from ss5 - new color
Hanzo's volcano bg from ss3 - no crows this time
that's all I've seen so far. just 2 totally new bg's this time.

I need donations in order to add more download MB to my streamload acct. I have to pay $5 for an extra 1000MB of downloads. I only opened this acct so that I could share this video and just opened it with $5. It looks like the limit was reached withing an hour or two after I posted the link.

I still want to play this game pretty bad, despite the uproar over no fatalities.
Come on folks, this isn't fucking Mortal Kombat...there's actual decent gameplay involved. Yeah, it sucks...get a fucking helmet and deal with it.

Pay... there'll be none of that... here is a free solution:

http://www.yousendit.com (which seems to be down right now, but it'll be back up)

once it is up, post the link it creates.

If someone converted that video into an mpeg it would be smaller... and I would be able to watch it here. :)

This has got to be the best example of 'not reading the entire thread' I've ever seen...

Nope, read the whole thing... and after reading it and seeing that video (hadn't seen it before) decided that looks pretty sweet, I'll have to check it out when it is cheap on MVS or on PS2. Sucks that they apparently didn't give the full game to the AES players...

Don't mind the noob... :D (I knew it was just a matter of time before I was called that!)

This fatality situation doesn't make sense.

I've never heard of a Neo home cart that won't allow you to access MVS features on a modded system. What's going on here? Why can't he access the fatalities and special fatalities through the MVS setting? Maybe there's a code for the home setting. Even if there is some kind of code on the home setting, this is still bizarre.

It appears they designed the lockout specifically with the BIOS in mind.

But they are there, they just need to be dug up. I think (and hope) it's just a matter of time before this happens.

Can anyone confirm or deny this? The ship stage is my favorite from 5, and one of the best of the series, IMO. Everyone's welcome to their own taste, though.

I also have a vote for the ship stage being great. I thought it added a nice touch, and was one of my favorite BGs in the game right behind Ukyo's redone stage and Mina's.
