SamSho on GBA

Hi ive been reading the forums here for a good long time but this is my first post. Does anyone know anything about the upcoming Samurai Shodown release on GBA. Im really looking forward to this game.

Marvelous who is producing it has also produced the king of fighters game on GBA. Buyrite says that it is a samurai shodown installment.

The game does look kool though, like Samurai Shodown mixed with Ikari Warriors.

was actually alright considering.
neat sd chara and better gameplay then the kof 95
that came out around the same time.
i doubt they would get away with putting a

The game is actually called Samurai Deeper Kyo, and I think it's by Marvelous (considering their past track record with KOF:EX, perhaps we should be glad it's not a SS game ).

Anyway, the game seems to look pretty good, I might check it out.

So, Samurai Shodown is either a mistake, deceptive advertising, or wishful thinking (see their calling Ikaruga "Radiant Silvergun 2" in direct contrast to Treasure's idiotic "no sequels" policy*).

*Yeah, I know why they probably do it. That doesn't change the fact that I think it's idiotic, and if you disagree, forward any complaints to the nearest brick wall.
