I have successfully modded an American Neo Geo Home Cartridge System for use with S-Video & Stereo L/R hook-ups! The picture is AMAZING! I cannot believe it improved as much as it did. Anyways.....I will be modding these if anyone is interested. Please contact me via email if you have any questions or concerns. I will also be adding multi-colored LEDs to the system so that you know when the power is on since these units have no power indicator. I have green, red, orange & blue, which is quite popular. I though you said that if you learn to do this your were going to do it for a much lower price, even lower than Jeff’s and Dr-Games.
Well $65 is not that low specially since it doesn’t include shipping back…………
Not to get anything started or a price war or anything like that. But I charge People
$50 for S-video and that includes shipping and $50 for the debug and Stereo and that also includes shipping, or $90 for a complete mod. And trust me I done many systems in here and haven’t had a single complaint.
The light is not a big deal, I can do that for free on a complete mod if the customer request it.
Like I said I’m not trying to compete, I have never done it before and wont start now, its great that we have some1 else that could do the mod’s, but just wondering what happened to your low price, promise……………
I guess you realize that it takes a little work to get everything looking nice and right.

I think you should mod them for $25 as a service to the community, remember you said that if you found out how to do it you'd do them for a "lot cheaper". Time to put up or . . . <IMG SRC="smilies/loco.gif" border="0">

By the way, My work IS very professional. I am dedicated to what I do. I would never advertise a product or service if I wasn't 100% confident in it.

These assholes act like only certain, priviledged people are capable/allowed to mod Neo systems. This is why I wanted to learn how to do these in the first place. I will NOT rape/scalp for this service. I feel it is a fair price. Like I said earlier, when I purchase the parts thru bulk, the price will go down! I would be happy to email pictures of my mods if anyone is interested. Thanks again to the FEW that have supported me.

And NeoGML, you've always been cool here. You need to understand that this whole issue is not to keep modding of systems in some special exclusive circle. The issue is Kenny Boy's rude and abrasive attitude when he first came in these forums, whining that people wouldn't give him the info, and boasting that when he learned how to do them, he'd "charge much less" than the supposed ripoff prices in effect.

Thats it, I don't like this jerkoffs attitude period. It sucks. I disliked this guy from DAY ONE, his attitude was PATHETIC.

I don't want to mod your system. Even if I was the last person on earth that modded them and you still sent it to me, I would shit in it for you!

My initial post was to get information. I never whined. I contacted many people, all who would not give me one single ounce of help. My attitude has been fine except when it comes to you. I have NEVER gone looking for you in the forums. Oddly, YOU are always the one that must turn up your ugly head whenever I post something. No one has asked you anything in this forum; so why don't you go wipe up your spooge stains that seem to have collected on your neo collection.

I think it's great that more people are doing/offering the mods. Now, just put that bottled up anger towards something useful, like learning how to do cart conversions too.

What I don't like is people bashing board members. The tech forum is not the place for this. Take it to the war room.
