Looks just like Force Awakens: perfectly adequate.

Not great, but not terrible like the prequels. And if we are going to get a bunch of inoffensively mediocre new stories that don't really belong with the original three movies, I guess I'd just as soon they be fun little movies rather than hacked-out EU novels. So I'll go watch it.

This is getting too SJW bullshit for me.

If it's any consolation, I'm sure the third one will be directed by Sensitive Joss Whedon and will be a tale of redemption for Han solos effeminate, emotional, incompetent, cicgender, MALE son.....possibly under the guidance of a strong, unflappable female lead with an iron resolve and nerves like ice.

Also expect to have him recast with either Jesse Eisenberg or Topher Grace for the next film.

I'm guessing we won't see Donnie flipping around with lightsabers. Seems like a waste.

DONNIE-FUCKING -YEN

This reminds me I need to watch Ip Man 3.

On topic, I thought the new trailer for Rogue One looked pretty mediocre/bland.

Looks like it could be decent. But I said "Oh god please no!" when Forrest Whitaker came out and I really don't want ninja's in my Star Wars.

So you didn't like the Darth Maul fight in Ep1?

That's the only really bad thing about that trailer - I'm hoping that Rogue Squadron is actually about, well, Rogue Squadron.
You two need to check your glasses. The name of the movie is not Rogue Squadron. It's not about Rogue Squadron.

Speaking of Rogue Squadron, where are my Dark Forces and Shadows of the Empire movies?

Donnie Yen was cool twenty years ago but I can't look at him now and think how much of his face is plastic now.

The series needs a good tESB. Right now the rebels have been winning time and time again.

Right?!? More excited to see Donnie Yen in there.

I jumped out of the couch when I saw Donnie Yen. Right in front of my seven year old I screamed 'THAT'S DONNIE FUCKING YEN!'. Worst parent ever.

Does it seem odd that Yen is the first true action star to be in a star wars film? I know Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson are counted in those ranks, I just have a hard time putting them I'm the same category as Arnold or Sly.

I wish his character wasn't blind, but whatever.

I have to say...I am really coming around to this movie. My gut when they announced it was "meh...cash grab, I'll probably never see it".

Now? I'm actually pretty excited about it...it seems uncharacteristically dark/violent for a SW film, which is cool.

I just saw the trailer for this, and I have to say, unfortunately, this didn't strike up the least bit of excitement for me. I think the force awakens finally dulled my appreciation for star wars

I'm just glad that annoying alarm sound from the first trailer isn't blaring in this one.

IF its more ground level war documentary-esque like interviews have been promising it I will be pleased if only to see a new cinematic angle of SW. But I know I'll see it either way because Disney rules my wallet.

Movie looks like it should be a decent Christmas flick.

In spite of some of the issues, I was always a huge fan of the expanded universe. It would have been nice to get some of those story arcs turned into films, in particular the Thrawn Trilogy.

Some of you motherfuckers have really hardened your hearts…I'm quite the movie-cunt and even I can find some enjoyment in these.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, from the mid 90's until Episode III was shit out on the collective SW fan base head…we had to endure nearly a decade of Lucas not only fucking up the original films beyond belief, but also releasing the shit-fest clusterfucks that were Ep I-III…

And you bitches are complaining about EP VII and this upcoming film? Really?

God…nothing can make some of you miserable fucks happy…and that's coming from the mouth of a miserable fuck.
