I think it would be awesome if they created other series along the KOF ones to rival it like a series that mixes Samurai Showdown characters with Last Blade character and then another one that mixes World Heroes characters with Waku Waku characters--something along these lines.

what a great idea.

Samurai Shodown vs Last Blade?
World Heroes vs Waku Waku 7?

what a sweet idea. that'd be pretty interesting.
but, if SNk made a special edition Dream match title, with this sister game was combined with KOF, what would it be called? SNK vs SNK?

Eh...I would not like them to simply be added. It would become some nonsensical MvC2 kinda' thing at that point. Better to keep the characters separate and distinct. I sure like the original idea tho'.

Nahh... we need a new series for this- a "King of Blades".

I'd like to see Gaisei (who is Kouryu in LB2) brought in as a playable character. SNK should create a new boss as well.

I've been thinking, and I think that it would be awesome if there was a game that put together all the Neo Geo characters into one HUGE fighting game.

Hey TheMan, keep that thought in your mind!
That would be totally boss. Throw all the "logic" out the window and let's have one giant clusterfuck!

IDK about the World Heroes vs. Waku Waku 7, but an LB vs. SS would have potential.

I don't want a series that mixes characters from all SNK games together. Terry Bogard vs.... uh, Haohmaru!?!?! Not exactly a fair match, IMO.

Gaisei vs. Haohmaru sounds like a better proposition, IMO.

it wouldn't work out right because Samurai Shodown takes place like 100-200 years before Last Blade. SNK is known for their wonderful storylines and doing that would mess up their rep. Even though they kinda altered the Art of fighting characters ages and timeline for them to fight in KOF it wasn't that bad because it was only a few years while a 100-200 year gap is something else.

last blade and samurai showdown are 100-200 years apart? besides someone said it should be a dream match so as long as that was said there would be no destroying of snk's name. but personally id rather see a toatally original game..not fatal fury not king of fighter not art of fighting not none of that just a toatally original game withought any former snk characters (maybe a hidden one or two)

Spinmaster X I agree with you; KOF worked with using characters from other series because the series all took place at (basically) the same time. You wouldn't have that great sense of continuity in an LB vs SS game. And what would the premise be? SS and LB also have very different moods and styles, and it would be difficult to combine them. It would probably still be a blast to play, though. Capcom vs SNK had all of these "problems", but it's still a fun brawler.

No good idea!

I it is already mixed in KOF! AoF is at least 10 years before FF. How comes that Ryo is still this young when fighting Terry?

Samurai Shodown is in 16th century Last Blade in the 19th. Thats quite some time! The clothing is quite different.

But if you really want, how about Samurai Shodown, Last Blade and Ninja Masters?

I don't care how much of a time difference there is. If SNK put FF and AOF together in one game, they can do the same with SS and LB. That different time garabage didn't make a difference in KOF, I see no reason why it should make a difference in a potential SS vs LB game. Keep in mind that no one in KOF has even aged that much (If at all.). If that doesn't tell you something about time not playing a major role in KOF I don't know what does!

Have you ever seen Ryo as Mr Karate in Garou Densetsu Wild Ambition? That is how it should be.

Have you ever fought against Geese in AoF 2 and beaten him. Than you would know that while AoF 2 had happened Jeff Bogard still lived.

Got it, Bro!

That KoF stories are ridiculous, or how you English speaking call it.

Well aware of all that. Fine how about this, an alternate reality set-up (Like what what Capcom did with the original Rockman & Rockman Dash games.). Oh I sure someone's going to find a problem with this one! Fine, I'll give it a rest. It's always a losing battle anyway.

Just remember, as the saying goes, anything's possible.
