I missed out on this on the Playstation and the reviews have been a little above average but I really like it.

I am only a couple hours into it but it is a lot of fun, although pretty easy.

I actually got the weird urge to play this again recently.

It's a solid RPG.

Nothing spectacular, but enjoyable.

I always loved the giant pancake attack.

Won't buy this though as the PSP has spoiled me with its PS1 emulation.

I preordered the bonus from Atlus's website Rosenqueen, supposed to have been sent on September 22, it's now October 2  Must be shitting me, no way media mail takes this long.

I have put some more time into this and really like it. I have been renting all of the new DS RPG games through Gamefly and I am enjoying Rhapsody more than any of the others. I normally just play them until I get bored with them and then send them back but I am going to buy this one.

This game is very easy (so far) but I like easy games, so that is a plus for me. I just want to point that out though since some of you may like more challenging games. When you are in a dungeon the top screen is a map of all of the rooms with connecting doors. If you are stuck in the over world, you can hit the talk button and get the clue of where you need to go next. You can also save at anytime, which is a great feature. I went to the wrong spot once and entered a dungeon that I wasn't suppose to be in yet and had no problems with the bad guys. I gained some good levels doing that and know I am just rolling over everyone.

The music is nice and the game looks really good. I would be interested to know what was changed from the Playstation verison to the DS version.

Anyway...I really like this game and suggest at least a rental.

From what I understand, the DS version had 2 new songs added to it, so Atlus USA said, there's not enough time to record the new songs in English, let's retain the original Japanese songs and dialogue, just add subtitles.

Which is great for me. Ordered this, just hasn't gotten here yet, Rosenqueen told me to wait until Friday, I can't imagine what's the goddamn holdup, taking more than 10 days now. Media Mail was never this slow.

I've got a backlog of RPGs right now as it is, but I might check this out when I plow through it. Sounds like a decent game.

I also missed out on it on PS1.

I don't know if this list is acurate or not as I took it from another site. Here is a list of some things that were changed from the PS version to the DS version. Someone that has played both would have to confirm this.

Removed
-English Voices
-Gallery Mode
-Strategy RPG Battle System

Added
-Kururu Playable
-Observation Mode
-Turn Based Battle System
-New Menu Interface
-Mini Map
-New Skills for Cornet and the Puppets
-2 New Songs
-New Sidequest (Elly's Mother)*
-New Scenario (Cherie's Story)*
-Cleaned-up Translation
-Optional Touch Screen Controls

*The new sidequest and scenario may be glitched in the US version. They are supposed to be there but there may be a bug preventing them from unlocking. NISA has been made aware of this and we're waiting for additional details.

*Monster catching was removed?

*You don't have to give Moustaki, Cornet's grandfather, inotium to fix your puppets if they die in battle. Once you start the battle again, they start at 1 HP.

I got my Rhapsody yesterday, about fooking time. I like it a lot, it's like playing an anime adventure, lots of cute, expressive characters with funny dialogue, and entertaining musical interludes to follow --- not just funny lyrics, but also funny acting with the aid of props.

Anyone still playing this? I think it is really good and one of the better games I have played lately.

I should add that it looks like all of the end game extra content was removed from the USA version. People thought it was a glitch at first but it appears that it was not translated from the Japanese version. (I posted the two extras in a previous post).

Regardless, I am pretty impressed with this game.
