Hi, i have this Comrex CR-6600 RGB monitor, and i'm damn sure it's 15 Hz, so it should work with my neo. it has a 9 pin din connector, but i have no idea what the pinout is on the monitor. i'm trying random connections, but i'm not getting any luck, i also did try it systematically, but no luck either. I know i need to connect ground to see a color, but i tried connecting ground to every pin and then trying Blue on every other pin, but nothing came out...

can someone help me? this is kinda making me mad... <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

Woah - not the way to go! you could end up damaging something quite easily!

You need to find the specs. Do a search on the net. If you wanna go that way, try the Commodore 1084 pinouts, but that may not be wise!

Best thing to do would be to find the earth first - if there's anything else that should be earthed (maybe if it has a D connector a screw hole) then you can test for continuity between that and the pins. Then you can narrow it down, maybe start trying a line on the pins. But don't forget, you won't get a proper picture without sync too!
