I'm not sure, but I think that it may be different.

I've just checked a Euro RF I own and I've seen it has a switch to select PAL BG or PAL I, that's why I think that the US or JPN model may be different.

I'm afraid I can't tell you more. :(

The sound intre-carrier frequency will be different. So you will get a picture but no, or distorted sound.

US intre-carrier freq 4.5 Mhz
Euro ,, ,, ,, 5.5-6.5 Mhz depends on country.

Check out <a href="http://www.mastervideo.com/videospecs.htm" target="_blank">http://www.mastervideo.com/videospecs.htm</a>

If its not switchable as with ocsmods adapter, you may find an adjustment coil within the RF modulator.

no, if you connect a jap-rf-adapter to an european tv you get an black/white screen!

-> selbst wenn du an ein pal-gerät einen jap-rf-adapter anschließt bekommst du einen BW-screen. die rf-converter in den hier erhältlichen tv's sind nur für pal ausgelegt, leider! :(

I think what Rob is asking is what if you have a PAL Neo and a US/Jap RF adapter. In that case it should not affect the colour, but it will cause problems with the sound because of the reasons outlined above.
If you have a NTSC Neo you will always get B&W on a PAL TV whatever RF adapter you are running.

It will affect everything. The RF unit is set to PAL or NTSC. If you're trying to sync a PAL signal to NTSC that won't work, or vice versa.

Contrary to popular belief, most Euro TVs are NOT NTSC compatible through RF! Only RGB, sometimes composite and S-VID. :)
