Just finished it this morning.
Took me just under 13 hours to complete the game and missed a number of the files.
Overall, one of the better entries in the series post Resident Evil 4. Taken as a whole experience, I agree that it suffers a bit from multiple personality disorder but I found the constant change of pace refreshing rather than disorienting.
Lots of nostalgia bait in the second half of the game, but it's fine. The series is 30 years old. It's okay to lean on its own foundation, especially given the way in which Requiem handles the overall mythology of Resident Evil.
Definitely don't waste your money on the deluxe edition. There is almost no added value of substance.
Lots of nice things to unlock in subsequent playthroughs if you are completionist. New weapons and so forth.
No Mercenaries is a bit of a disappointment, especially after how poor the mode is in Village. But maybe it'll get added at a later point. Nothing will ever top 6's Mercenaries mode, however.
Oh, and there are multiple endings.
