I have a pair of Neo Hori sticks that could use new springs. Anyone know if a specific Sanwa or Seimitsu spring fits well? 1-2 lb tension is the ballpark I'm looking for. Thanks in advance.

Can I see a pic of the levers in them? I've never taken a peek inside either of those. If I can see those, I think we can find the springs you need.

I have two Hori Neo 2 sticks, and I'd be really interested in the spring I could use.
Took these pics months ago, hope they help.

Probably close to LS-33s tension spring since the neo used that.

I opened my FS1, looks nearly identical. Diameter is a bit smaller than a JLF spring. Gonna open up a couple Seimitsu sticks to compare later today hopefully.

Looks like LS-58 springs are a close enough fit and feel. They're a little bit bigger diameter than the stock, but they fit fine in the FS and FSII. I didn't test any other Seimitsu sticks because they all looked bigger than the 58. LS-56 spring looks like it might fit, but I don't have any on hand to test.

This isn't gonna feel as good as doing a full stick swap, but it does the job of getting a beat-up Hori FS stick feeling decent again.

For those interested, the only non-cosmetic differences between the FS and FSII is the stick:
  • FS has a thicker shaft than the FSII
  • The FS has a full 35mm balltop, but the FSII has 33mm or so
  • The FS has levers between the actuator and the microswitch like LS-32, but the FSII does not have the levers
