Any ideas on alternative voltage regulators that can be used in an AES? I've got a machine with a faulty one, but have been unable to locate an exact replacement. The one in my console says 'B1135 9M1'.

Thanks in advance, Andy.

Hi,

If you check back in the archive I posted a topic on this.

Basically, there are two different types. Check whether yours is the high or low voltage version (off the top of my head, around 5V or 9-12V). Basically, the higher is more common over here. Use a Mega Drive PSU and you should be fine.

Any more problems, my email address is eggplant_casserole@hotmail.com

Hope this helps <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I also need to get a PSU for a AES. Any way you can check if it's a 5V or 9V NeoGeo by looking at the motherboard or something?.. not writen on the sticker under it.
