If you live somewhere where the majority of cops, given the opportunity, will fuck over the mentally ill, I think it makes you mentally ill for staying there.

I was under the impression that Kiel and Bobak still checked in on him from time to time. I think Greg has issues, but he puts it on very thick here. Folks who go off their bi polar meds don't usually have enough clarity to make message board posts about it.

My father in law is manic...when he has an episode, he does typical "crazy" shit people often think of. Things like elevated paranoia, hearing things, giddy type behavior (imagine a drunk 8 year old), stuff like that. He'll rearrange all of his stuff, dress differently, pick the fillings out of his teeth...when he comes down, he'll be all pissed he did all of it. It normally starts and ends with sleep patterns. When he's about to have an episode, he won't sleep at all...when the episode passes (anywhere from weeks to a month or better), he'll begin sleeping again.

I saw Greg's FB posts and figured he was having another episode...he had mentioned not sleeping about a week ago and I wondered if he was about to slip onto one.

And the is the reason why people like greg are afraid to get help. People who demonize those who are there to help...

Here is what I know...I had been getting calls from a number I didn't recognize and the other side would never say anything and finally a week of so ago they (Greg) left a voice mail because it was at 7 something in the morning and I wasn't awake. And that message was batshit crazy. He was talking about This Dadaism documentary he watched and then him trying to navigate netflix's menu to tell me what else he watched while swearing up a blue streak and yelling at his dad and uncle. I hit up ookitare panda and criterionradiohead to see if they got anything similar and panda let me know that Bobak talked to Greg and his behavior was EXACTLY like smoke just described a few posts up so Bobak called the cops on him all the while while he was out of the country for a wedding. So at this point I know the cops have been called at least 3 times so hopefully something is happening.

Sounds a bit like a diabetic reaction, but prolonged.

Hope Greg is doing well. I know he gets a bit annoying at times. And recently he was making quite a few nonsensical threads. But I don't wish ill on any members of our little community. I like it here, I like our kookiness. Good luck Greg, good mental health is a precious thing. And when you are, like us simply observing from the outside looking in. You don't know what goes on, and have no idea other than by reading about it what this person is going through. So I've no idea how you are, but can only hope you're on a good path.
