*rant shield* When people make their own match videos and post them online and they're not among the best, instead of some helpful constructive criticism, why the fuck do people think they got the right to get all postal and straight up slam people that *could* be future good players over their vids and tell them to stop playing?
Kinda like in this long locked Shoryuken.com thread...

There are a lot of people who believe being able to play a video game really well is some kind of accomplishment. In some cases, it may represent that person's only accomplishment in life. So don't get burned up-- take a moment, and feel some pity.

If anything, maybe getting slammed so hard will pevent the video poster from turning into one of those assholes at some future point. Maybe he'll step back, assess his life, and decide to concentrate on getting enjoyment out of games, rather than trying to somehow impress other people with them.

Ok, everything aside, what the HELL was that "AY! AY! AY!" bullshit?

If this is a new trend, it is extREMELY lame.

Yeah they were average players, nothing to learn really from those matches.

SRK is full of assholes tho, like any other forum, but SRK just seems to have more of them. But that might be cause of a younger demographic.

But to give credit, there are very helpful and sensible posters over there, 2 out of every 10 or 15, I would say.

I mean, these are people that are obsessed with MvC2 and other easy to play shit. And at times, their obsession with winning and playing well really leaves me dumbfounded. It might have to do with being able to do broken shit getting to your head.

I'd guess it's inspired by what happens in some videos during Yun's Genei-Jin on 3rd Strike. I fucking hate Yun, so I'm with you on that.

I don't care for GGXX so I only watched the KoF 2003 vids, they weren't THAT bad aside from the AY AY AY's. If anything it's nice to see matches that don't degenerate into a boring Duolon-fest.

Exactly. It's really not worth getting worked up over anything that gets posted on SRK, most of the site is a bunch of no-name people talking shit and claiming they can own the top players when nobody knows who the fuck they are and they don't have any proof of their "skillz". There is useful information on the site, sure, and yep there are a good number of people who aren't douchebags... but the bad outweighs the good.

Awwww leave the AYs alone! I personally think they're funny. That's just my opinion. Only time I'd get annoyed by them is when they shout it out when a throw occurs or a special move randomly knocks the opponent on the ground instantly.
