Real Bout Special - NEO GEO CD - Did you already unlocked characters here?

Hi people, this a my first thread, and it's been a while(well years) since I'm checking the forum, and I'm pleased to be part of it now.

Well, a have a doubt and want to share this.
Since I recently modded an arcade joystick to use in almost every system here, I'm cheered up to try some games that it's been a while that I haven't played anymore.

More than 10 years ago I've been trying and even now I never had unlocked Nightmare Geese in Neo Geo CD, I never had a chance to try in AES.

I've done everything that I found written, even kicked the Geese's ass and executed the command showed in the ending at the ranking screen and never been able to unlock Geese and EX characters...

Did someone ever did this? If the game shows the command to unlock, then it must be there.

If someone can do this, can you explain how is your way to do it?

At the ranking screen after the demo plays, do a counter-clockwise 360 motion beginning at the "right" position, then quickly stick the joystick in the down-right position and hold it there then press A, B, then C in quick succession. It's exactly like it says to at the ending credits. I think you may have to have beaten Nightmare Geese first, not 100% sure. I haven't played that game in a long time.

Believe me, already did exactly like you said.

A, then B and C in a quick sucession, slow sucession, already tried the three button simultaneously too.

Tried to do the command very quickly, or very slow too, with neo geo pads, with neo geo sticks with other controllers and always after beating Geese, after a legit gameplay from beggining to the end.

Just tried this on Fatal Fury Battle Archives 2 on PS2 (American version) and it worked the first try. I don't have any SNK hardware currently to test it on, unfortunately. Maybe check your microswitches in your controls...?

Well, I can't recommend for anyone to rely on those neo geo cd D-pads.

But for the arcade sticks I have two from each model, and they are in great condition, one of them, the PRO controller is like new and so its box too. Besides I've been trying too in a recent modded arcade stick with a new semitsu LS-32. So it's been some time that I dropped this possibility.
