Even though I'm not a collector as such I'll answer them anyway :)

What's the least you've ever paid for a NGPC game/item?

My answer: I paid about £5 each for some of the crappy casino games.

What's the most?

Other than the initial purchase of a NGPC and Metal Slug 1 probably £40 for Evolution, and £35 for a new silver NGPC, that wierd blue box pachinko game and Neo Poke Kun.

What's the best NGPC purchase you've ever made?

MOTM! I think it was about £15. Great game. Yeah it's not that rare, and I didn't get it for a stupidly low price or anything. It's just a great game and well worth the money.

What was the worst?

Infinity Cure & Melon Chans Growth Diary, about £30 for the 2. Melon Chans is playable, but boring. Infinity Cure seems to be a jap text adventure.. completely unplayable.

Or Evolution, yeah it's rare but it was £40 wasted. I could have got picture puzzle and pocket reversi for £20 each instead :(

Ever kicked yourself for not buying something when you perhaps should have done? What was it?

Alot of UK games back in the day. But I didn't really have the money back then anyway :( Also there was a NGP Samurai Spirits boxset on ebay awhile ago that went really cheaply. I wish I'd bid on it.

Do you play the games or just store them away safely?

Play them.

What is the best and worse games on the NGPC in your opinion?

MOTM, Faselei (although I hated it at first when I played the jap version, but when I got the UK one and started getting into it I loved it), CFC (if anyone has a UK SNK version for sale let me know :) )

Worst, Evolution. The casino games are fun for 5 minutes and I'm sure stuff like Infinity Cure is good if you can read it.. Evolution is just no fun at all, it's silly that people pay so much for it.

*edited to add "worst game", as I forgot to put it when I posted this thread. Doh!

$5 for a mint KoF R1 one year ago (private transaction).

What's the most?

About $35 for a Slug 1.

What's the best NGPC purchase you've ever made?

KoF R2. It just never seems to get old.

Ever kicked yourself for not buying something when you perhaps should have done? What was it?

Slug 2, Shanghai mini and Dark Arms in a bundle, offered to me for $40.

Do you play the games or just store them away safely?

I play them. That's what they're made for.

What is the best and worse games on the NGPC in your opinion?

Best - KoF R2, MotM, BU.
Worst - Most of the casino/gambling games.

What's the least you've ever paid for a NGPC game/item?

£40 for a blue NGPC and about 10 first gen games (Metal slug, Tennis, etc)

What's the most?

Tied $60 for super real Mah-jongg and Ogre Battle.

What's the best NGPC purchase you've ever made?

The original Game deal. NGPC plus three games for £100. It all started there! (Note for non-UKians: "Game" is the name of a game store chain in the UK)

What was the worst?

Probably Ogre Battle. An okay game, but not worth $60...

Ever kicked yourself for not buying something when you perhaps should have done? What was it?

Loads of ebay deals that I watch for a week and then forget to bid on :(

Or of course, not picking up 50 copies of Pocket Reversi so that I could now unleash them on ebay and fleece the Edge-reading masses ;) (PLEASE NOTE THE SMILEY!)

Do you play the games or just store them away safely?

Play them, and sell them on when I'm bored...

What is the best and worse games on the NGPC in your opinion?

Best? CFC without a doubt. It's the one pocket game that I still go back to today...

Worst? All of those interchangable pachinko/slots things.

Weirdest? Party Mail. WTF is that all about?

Cheers
Chris

What's the least you've ever paid for a NGPC game/item?

My answer: $12.00 for Sealed SNK Cardfighters

What's the most?

NGPC Platnum with Sonic $60.00

What's the best NGPC purchase you've ever made?

MoTM. Best $14.99 I ever spent lol

What was the worst?

Havent had one yet really. I only buy games that I will play and I dont like casino games so I have stayed away from those. The worst I ever played though was Baseball Stars Color. Man what a crappy game. Baseball Stars 2 on the NGH is great and for the NGPC version to suck so bad was dissapointing.

Ever kicked yourself for not buying something when you perhaps should have done? What was it?

Slug 2...I didnt have a NGPC at the time but I wish I had bought it anyway.

Do you play the games or just store them away safely?

Play them all the time.

What is the best and worse games on the NGPC in your opinion?

Best: MoTM,KOF-R2,Sonic,Metal Slug1+2,Neo Turf Masters

Worst:So far Baseball Stars....also I wasnt impressed with Neo Cup 98.

What's the least you've ever paid for a NGPC game/item?

The absolute least was the nothing I paid for a Shock'n'Rock. I've also gotten a B&W NGP with English KoFR-1 for $15 and a few games--Ogre Battle, Crush Roller, Master of Syougi, some Dyna games--for $8-12

What's the most?

$115 for a 32Meg flash cart and linker. $75 for my original Neo Poke. $60 for Evolution.

What's the best NGPC purchase you've ever made?

Buying the system in the first place back in September 1999. Also a nice eBay steal of Cardfighter, Cool Boarders, Puzzle Link, Dark Arms and Bust-a-Move all for $40. The flash cart and linker has proved very worthwhile, as well.

What's the worst?

I haven't had any really bad deals that stand out in my mind. I suppose I paid too much for Baseball Stars since I got it retail along with my system, probably about $35 or so.

Ever kicked yourself for not buying something when you perhaps should have done? What was it?

Again, not really. I've seen a couple auctions on eBay that I've passed on thinking that they would go too high, but then seen them close really cheap. Neo Poke Pro Yakyuu for $30 and Nigeronpa for $35 are the two I'm thinking of.

Do you play the games or just store them away safely?

I play the good ones. Unfortunately the collector side of me has gotten me to buy too many games that I don't play, so I'm slowly weeding out the games I don't want. Eventually I think I'll keep about 20 really great games.

What is the best and worse games on the NGPC in your opinion?

Best: Ganbare Neo Poke-kun, Last Blade, MotM, Puzzle Link, Neo Geo Cup '98, Cool Boarders.

Worst: Baseball Stars is awful compared to the NES and Neo Geo versions. Evolution is crap. Dive Alert is terribly boring. Of the games i own, that's about all of the really bad ones. I think the casino games are actually quite good if you're into that sort of thing, it's just too bad that they're not all on one cartridge.
