i'm planning to sell them on e bay with free shipping ,

is it better to sell them all in one auction ? with reserve

or should i seperate them like every 50 movies in one auction ?

what do you think

i need to hear from experienced people here

I've got the same problem except that I am from the UK and am working currently in KSA. If I was in the UK, I would sell all items seperatly as that gets the best price. But from where I am shipping is costly so I had to sell in one lot at a huge discount.

If you have 200 movies, either sell all in one lot to avoid a headache, or see what the first shipping fee tier is (1kg, 5kg?) and put up lots that are up to that weight (put in mind packing is included in the weight).

you have a better shot selling if you break it up a bit. it is hard to find one person who wants all of those.

Maybe you should even think about breaking the package up into units of about 10 pieces, if you don´t want to sell one movie after the other.

Certainly this would mean more work for you, but you will surely get more money for them.
If you decide to sell your collection as one auction, the auction winner will most likely be a retailer and you´ll get a rather low price.

Btw, impressive collection :).

No one is going to buy lots of blu-ray movies unless they're super cheap. If you're looking to get back half the money you spent on them I think you'll be disappointed.
If you're willing to take the loss just sell it as one lot and be done with it.

Maybe you should sell them as different lots. I.e. Put some fighting movies together for fighting movies fans or some Drama movies together and so on. One huge big lot like Fett mentioned is going to be super pricey in terms of shipping and you will loose money from shipping as well

Sell them like packs of 10 or 15's

Even though I have only 1 Blu-Ray movie (cause it came as a gift with my PS3 when I bought it) I think I would be interested in some titles. I wouldnt know though If you would be willing to sell worldwide though cause I live in Greece

Nope. But if he has Kicking it Old School or Waynes World, it would.

A reseller is going to instantly grab that lot if you sell it all at once. Then turn around and sell them 1 by 1 for a 20% profit.

So true ... i think it would be a crime given all that time and effort you put into collecting all of these. Either sell them in small lots or 1 by 1 ;)

Try and sell them singularly on eBay and here if your looking to make the most money out of them, it's abit more hassle but it'll be worth it :)

Good stuff, it's a nice collection :). If you don't have to sell them then don't :make_fac:

Its only 5 cents to list a media item with item specifics using BIN, regardless of the price. You already have the the pic, just type up a list. Start the BIN at a price that you would be comfortable selling the lot for and see what happens. You can even add in a best offer option. If it doesn't sell, oh well, you are only out a nickel.

I'm surprised someone would build up a collection of a relatively new medium such as Blu-ray discs, only to want to dump them off 2-3 years later.

Exactly what I was thinking. It would be like buying a collection of DVD movies back in the early 2000's, selling them off and sticking with VHS. I guess if someone really doesn't care much for watching movies more than once it makes sense.

I would hang on to them. You really won't make much money off them really and they will come in handy if you have someone over to watch them with. I really am glad I have my movies handy when my internet and cable is down during really bad weather or visiting my parents house.

A collection of 200 within 2 or 3 years means pretty much 1 or 2 per week. Not that much different from rentals, except being much more expensive.
