Question about ninja combat & art of fighting

AES version of both games has voice-over but not in MVS and PS2 port? Why is that?

Ninja Combat in my mvs cab certainly has voice-over in-between stages "you're the woman who..." "I am Kagerou!"

PS2 port of art of fighting has no voice over in the intro.......both US & JPN

Shock Troopers on SNK Classics on PS2 is also missing some Japanese voices, for some reason.

Do you mean the voice "Ryo Sakazaki goes to South Town..." during the intro?
Ryuuko no Ken Ten Chi Jin collection (JP) on PS2 has it!

These two games have two different versions (as seen on MAME dumps). Probably the voiceovers are one of the differences between the two.

You're right! JPN has voice over but not US version

Regarding to Ninja Combat, looks like voice over during the intermissions only for US (or AES) version and not in JPN one.
