PSP Wishlist

I defy anyone to come up with a more worthless thread than this, which is dedicated to games I wish they'd make for PSP.

- Jet Grind Radio. One of the greatest games ever made, that would also make an extremely addictive PSP game.

- Silent Scope. Playing the mostly unsatisfying sniping training in MGS:PO+ made me think about how fun a simple, straightforward sniping game would be. No story; just one man and his bell tower.

Other than these two, I think I'm pretty much good. I wouldn't mind Devil Dice, either, I guess.

Actually there is. There is a version of the gp2x mame avilable now for the psp. It takes old roms, cant seem to find these though. If you know someone with a gp2x and the rom set you would be in luck.

You mean MAME4ALL? I was under the impression the GP2X version was actually a "port" of the PSP version, with an expanded romlist. Not sure why you'd need someone with a GP2X...the list of supported roms for the GP2X version is widely available on the net...in fact, it comes as a txt file if you download MAME4ALL.

FF IX - Sharpen up the graphics a little and we're good to go. Second favorite FF after IV.

Original Breath of Fire (Sister's suggestion) - Good pick I'd say on this one. Classic RPG.

For DS:

Seaman (since we were talking DC games) - I pick the DS for this since it already has the mic built in.

Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages/Seasons - My favorite handheld Zelda's. No stylus BS plz.

I want to see early playstation type games like Tomba!, Tomba! 2, Naughty Dog type Spyro and Crash, Gex, and Croc. Hell I'd even want a bushido blade or something. They should all be new entries, but kept in the spirit of the originals.

Ya MAM4ALL, guess its more expansive than the original and the full romset supported right now is over a gig. If you consider the fact that all mvs, cps1 and cps2 roms have an emulator. With mame4all thats alot of arcade stuffs.

These are all good suggestions. I have a demo of the original Tomba and it's tops.

My sister would fall over dead if they brought out a Spyro 3 pack for PSP. Hmm, better not do that one then....

Maverick hunter X was fairly faithful to the original, but I guess if you want sprite art that's a different story. It is, however, way to damn easy. I agree on the X2 and X3 ports. As for X4, I want it only if they make it harder then it was because anyone can blaze through it in no time if they really wanted to.

MAME4ALL isn't optimized at all. It boots a lot of older games up, but the framerate on the majority of those games is so low it makes them unplayable (there's actually a complete list of games it does and does not support, along with average FPS for each). Plus, I'm honestly more interested in playing shooters from the 90's. I know the system can handle these games, just no one has any interest in making them work.

I've been digging the PSN network games so much. I have about ten so far and I found them all to be great. Loving Policenauts and Biohazard Director's Cut. I'm playing Xenogears and Einhander this week, really looking forward to the new releases.

These are games I want on the PSN store ----

1. Biohazard 3 on PSN network... I have a feeling its coming. This is my favorite Biohazard game, I know I'm special.

2. Tobal No. 1 and 2... again with PSN network Square needs to release these.

3. FINAL FANTASY 7-9 Square just needs to break down are release them 600 yen and be done with it.

4. Metal Gear Solid VR missions - We have MGS1... just need all the extras now..
